"Gu Yuheng, are you really okay?" Lin Chuxia asked with concern once again.
"I'm fine," answered the individual, still wearing an indifferent expression.
"Oh."
Then, there was no follow-up.
Lin Chuxia buried herself in her book again, while Gu Yuheng felt stifled once more.
For the next half hour, the study was exceedingly quiet; however, the atmosphere within a meter radiating from Gu Yuheng was somewhat eerie, as if even the air within it was laden with a bit of awkwardness and gloom.
Yet, Chuxia was sitting too far from him to feel the deliberate ambiance he was exuding.
Gu Yuheng: "..."
Apparently deciding that maintaining this rigid atmosphere would not elicit the response he hoped for, Gu Yuheng let go of the cold and aloof expression on his face, reverting to the casual and gentle demeanor he usually adopted when alone with Lin Chuxia.
