Ye Yuning had just stepped into the studio when she received a call from Xia Andai. "Qi Mulan has been rescued," Xia Andai said over the phone.
"If she was never going to die, did she need rescuing?" Ye Yuning said indifferently.
Her words stunned Xia Andai on the other end of the phone. "Heartless woman."
"Should I play the innocent flower then?"
"No, I like this ruthless side of you!" Xia Andai said hurriedly.
Everyone knew what that woman, Qi Mulan, was aiming for now. If Ye Yuning showed even a hint of leniency at this point, it would lead to endless disaster.
Ye Yuning chuckled. "My disposition? As if I need your approval."
"But what's really going on with Xiao Linye? What's his relationship with Qi Mulan?" Xia Andai was somewhat dissatisfied about this.
Qi Mulan was being overly dramatic, and Xiao Linye was inexplicably going along with her antics. That alone was enough to make one sick.
Ye Yuning replied, "I don't know. Just keep an eye on them for me."
