By the time she arrived at the Civil Affairs Bureau, she saw from afar a tall, distinguished man standing at the entrance.
He wore a black suit and white shirt, ordinary professional attire.
But his exceptionally handsome appearance made it far from mundane.
Ye Yuning recognized him instantly as the man who had entered the wrong room that night and had seen her completely.
The man recognized Ye Yuning too, and when he saw her riding a shared bike, his expression imperceptibly stiffened.
Ye Yuning, carrying a small bag, stepped forward, oblivious to the man's unusual behavior, and politely extended her hand, "Hello, I'm Ye Yuning."
"Xiao Linye."
The man cordially shook her hand.
Ye Yuning hadn't expected this ordinary man to have such a commanding name. But why did she encounter another Xiao? Was she so unlucky today, fated to cross paths with the surname Xiao?
While pulling out her documents from her bag, she asked Xiao Linye, "Did you bring everything?"

"Boss, Mrs. Ye brought her daughter to the studio for onboarding, claiming the position of design director."
Upon hearing this, Ye Yuning's face darkened.
They had just had an unpleasant encounter this morning, and now they were coming to the studio to start work? What were they trying to do?
Ye Yuning took a deep breath and dangerously closed her eyes. "I'll be right back."
She hung up the phone and set off at a rapid pace, heading straight for the company.

She hurried back to the man. "Did you say we should eat together?"

Feeling a bit embarrassed, she said, "I'm rushing to work. How about this evening? Then we can have a good chat?"
Only then did Ye Yuning belatedly realize that she had been on the phone during the entire registration process. Now, aside from the man's name, she knew nothing else about him. She felt that since he was the person listed in the spouse column on her documents, regardless of whether they were going to build a life together or not, she should at least get to know him.
Xiao Linye didn't make it difficult for her. He hummed in response and then asked, "Shall I pick you up in the evening?"
"Okay, I'll send you the location from the company."
After sorting everything out, Ye Yuning mounted her shared bike and sped away.

His assistant, Lai Shuo, got out of the car and respectfully opened the door for him. "Seventh Master."
Xiao Linye coldly stubbed out his cigarette, stuffed the two marriage certificates into his pocket, and got into the car.
As Lai Shuo caught a glimpse of the red marriage booklets, he froze completely.

Lai Shuo couldn't believe it as he looked towards the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau.
With the car window halfway down, Xiao Linye gave him a cold look. "Aren't we leaving?"

His expression serious, he nodded. "Yes, all the cooperating parties have received the notifications."
As he spoke, Xiao Linye's aura became increasingly suffocating.
Looking at his stern face in the rearview mirror, Lai Shuo thought better of asking more questions.
