Fu Bing left the company to have dinner with Ren Ye and Ren Zhi.
Ren Ye spoke with displeasure, "Now that you're back in Jiangcheng, you don't want to return here. Are you afraid of me?"
"I'm afraid of disappointing you," Fu Bing replied, her gaze submissively lowered.
Ren Ye's dissatisfaction, initially provoked by President Han and Qin Jinhai, was extinguished by her lighthearted remark.
What else could he do but indulge her?
"I want to push you further, to have you replace Liu Xinping and eventually become a leader in the pharmaceutical industry. However..."
Fu Bing smiled faintly. "President Han wants to promote Qin Jinhai, right?"
Ren Ye didn't deny it.
"Qin Jinhai is Master Jian's youngest apprentice," Fu Bing said. "His experience is greater than mine. I don't have much credibility in the medical field. If I were to forcefully take that position, I wouldn't be able to hold it securely."
She was very clear about her own strengths and weaknesses.
