With a click, the whiteboard lit up, transforming into a high-resolution digital screen. A map of Brazil appeared, divided into five large colored regions. Isadora, holding the marker like a command baton, began her explanation. Her tone was now professor-like and incisive.
"Pay attention, because I won't repeat this," she said, her voice echoing through the silent room. "What you know about guilds is just the tip of the iceberg. The reality is a territorial power game. Brazil is dominated by five major guilds, each controlling a region. They are the top of the food chain."
She pointed to the Southeast region of the map, which lit up in emphasis. "Here we are. The Titan Guild. The largest, richest, and honestly the most arrogant of them all. It's where most high-ranking hunters want to be, because of money and prestige."
Her finger slid to the Northeast. "Here we have the Velozes Brancos. They are known for the speed and agility of their members. They focus heavily on reconnaissance and rapid neutralization missions. It's a respected guild, but more closed-off."
She moved her finger to the South. "The Sul Matinho. They are brute-force oriented, focused on firepower and endurance. Their hunters specialize in dealing with large monsters in forested areas. They are not subtle."
The map highlighted the North. "The Lobos do Norte. A more savage guild, adapted to harsh terrain like the Amazon. They value teamwork and pack tactics. They are extremely dangerous in their own territory."
Finally, the Midwest. "And the Núcleo de Ferro. As the name suggests, they are obsessed with defense and technology. Their members often use enhanced equipment and their bases are impenetrable fortresses. They don't have an S Rank, but they make up for it with strategy and preparation."
She paused, looking at them. "There are dozens of smaller guilds scattered around, but frankly, they don't matter. They are for those who can't enter the major leagues. Getting into one of these five is extremely difficult. They set the rules."
With another click, the screen changed, displaying a series of numbers and charts. "Now, the numbers. This is the current distribution of hunters by class in Brazil."

Class S: 7

"As you can see, there are no Class Z hunters, who are global-level legends. There are only seven Class S hunters in the entire country, which shows how rare that level of power is. Most are concentrated in the lower ranks," she explained, before changing the screen again. "And this is the distribution of those hunters among the guilds."

Isadora turned to them, crossing her arms. "Our guild, Titan, holds the highest number of S, A, and B ranks. That's why competition here is brutal. They don't care about G or E ranks because they consider them useless. Also notice how there are almost no D ranks outside the three largest guilds. That's because D rank is a transition stage. You either climb quickly or stagnate and become irrelevant."
She looked at them, her sharp gaze passing over each one. "Any questions?"
Zeki, who had absorbed everything with silent focus, simply nodded. "Understood. It's a system based on power and regional influence, with fierce internal competition for advancement. Thank you for the clarification." He then clapped briefly for Isadora.
Gustavo, on the other hand, stood there wide-eyed, looking at the numbers with a mix of shock and admiration. "Wow… so we're in the toughest guild of them all… that's awesome!" He started clapping slowly. "Nice presentation, Isadora. Seriously, you'd make a great teacher. Annoying, but great."
He also seemed impressed, clapping enthusiastically.
Isadora gave a satisfied smile, accepting the unusual compliment. "I know. When I explain things, people understand. It's one of my many talents."
She wiped the screen with a gesture. "Now that you understand our place in the world, let's talk about what really matters in our job."
Her expression turned serious again. "The monsters.
