Both Envy and Orge, now have become teenagers and they are now doing all the household chores and other stuff by themselves. They both learned to start planting trees and harvesting the crops. They are now using their every potential to be as much useful to the people of the town. Envy and Orge are both very energetic and humble brothers among each other the town has ever saw.
The day of 2nd March 2038, passes and the night begins, the mother swan started feeling uncomfortable and dizzy. Seeing this Envy said to Orge, "Look Orge what's going on with the swan, do you know what should we do to make swan feel alright."
Seeing the situation Orge panicked and said, "Envy let's don't waste our time and call the Elders as soon as possible." Hearing this from Orge, Envy and Orge both rushed to the home of the Elders and told them about the situation. The Elders then move their way to Twins home and see the mother swan crawling to the door.
On seeing this one elder replied, "Maybe it's time.". Hearing these words Envy and Orge eyes filled with tears as their loving one who always take care of them is breathing her last breath.
One Elder said to the Twins, "Don't be in sorrow and pain, this is the mercy and judgement of the mother nature." "Everyone who is born is going to be dead sooner of later." "There is only one thing we can do, is that, loving the very beloved person till their time."
Hearing these words from the elder, Envy and Orge started accepting the harsh reality of life and begins with the burial ritual. They all gathered besides the river on the very same spot where the villagers buried the bodies of the twin's parents. They started digging besides the grave of the Twin's mother to bury mother swan besides their mother, as mother swan lived her whole life protecting the twins and nourished them with the lost love of their human mother.
The whole scene was very emotional, everyone was feeling pity of how cruel sometimes mother nature can be. Seeing this, one elder said, "Sometimes mother nature is very harsh with her judgement, but she is the only one who can change the fate of many of us."
After the ritual performed everyone get's back to their home and begins with the night sleep. But Envy and Orge sat besides their mother's grave and started imagination talking with them. Envy said, "Mom you know, I always wished if you were alive today me and you along with my brother will visit the next town to see what they are doing, how their livelihood is going. I always wanted to meet with new people." "But I am not the lucky kid as all other kids of this town, I see the kids very happy and I feel sad when I don't have a reason to be happy." "When these kids get into their home in the evening they play with their father and their mother nourish them with her love and give them motherly loved food to eat."
"I always wished to be like these kids, I don't want anything from anyone but if I get a slightest chance to get you back, I will do anything I can."
Orge replied, "Brother I am very broken with the judgement of the God for us, we were kids who can't even speak or think but God took our parents from us."
"We were them loved by a swan, who also lost her children but now we also lost her, why all these things happens to us, I am afraid what will happen to those who will be our loved ones."
Envy said, "What so ever has done has been done, we can't just lose our mind and be in a sorrow for the rest of our life, we need to do good for the people so that the soul of our mother and father will feel proud of us."
They then felt sleepy and sleep besides their mother grave ...
Day 3rd march 2038, a shiny day arise they both woke up and started their day by the fields, they started planting spinach in the loving memory of their swan mother. Swan loves to eat spinach as much as we humans love to eat candies.
Envy said, "This is for returning the favor to our beloved mother swan, may her soul rest in peace."
After working few hours in the field, Envy saw that Orge was not there, he shouted his name for a few times and to his surprise there was no reply. Worring in this situation Envy rushed to the home to see if maybe Orge was sleeping or not. But the home was empty. Envy rush for help to the Elder home and told him the story, Elder calls for a meeting and few persons was chosen by the Elder to make a search for Orge in the forest with Envy. They then rushed to the forest as soon as possible to search for Orge before the sunset...
It was the first time in Envy's life to had a visit in the forest since he was born. They searched for the possible areas where they had a gut feeling of maybe Orge can be there. But to everyone surprise they found nothing. Feeling sad and defeated they all get back to the town and reported to the Elder, that they found nothing.
Elder said, "Everyone don't worry it's only a few hours after toady's night we will begin our search tomorrow."
Everyone insisted Envy not to take any unnecessary action in the feeling of sorrow to look for Orge all by himself in the dense forest. They warned Envy about the wild predators and no mercy nature of the mother. Hearing this Envy said, "He's my brother and he is the only one who is left behind with me." "All my loved ones are already gone and I don't want to lose him."
Elder replied, "We all understand you feeling and we want to help you in this situation, but we can't the odds are not with us this time." "We need to think with our brain and not with our emotions."
"Sometimes we make decision based on our emotions then we regret them in the future."
"So don't let your emotions fool you and you will end up giving your life," "Like your mother."
Hearing this notation, "Like your mother" Envy said in anger, "What you meant by this like my mother, who are you even to say her name" "She was my mother, my everything, you don't have any right to say her name."
"I warn you not to do this mistake in the near future, otherwise I will come for her revenge."
Hearing this from Envy, Elder man said in fear, "What revenge, and who told you about revenge, we people of this town live with harmony and peace with each other." "You don't belong to here and so do your brother."
Envy said, "We both brother know about your harmony and peace words, like the day when you make a meeting to let mother nature decide our fate." "You all decided to abandoned us in the forest, when we were small children like you all have." "You people don't show any mercy to us, and now you all are afraid to go back into the forest for my brother."
"I see, I see, now I think maybe you all are involved in my mother crying and sorrow, all due to you harmony and peace nature."
"You are like the snakes in the family of rats. Staying there watching on the prey and attack the prey when the prey thinks you are one of them." "You use words like harmony and peace to shed your dirty wishes like the same snakes do shed their skin."
"You all no different then a snake and one day you will eat each-other, like you all do to us."….
After this argument with the Elder and other people Envy went back to his home, in a hope of thinking a way to find Orge in the Forest.
While he was sitting besides the door with his own thoughts, he hears sound of someone approaching towards the door. He stood up fast and wiped his tears and opens the door, to his surprise Orge was approaching the door with some fruits in his hands which he collected from the forest.
Envy hushed to him and locked him with his arms giving him a hug, Orge said, "I am sorry brother, I disappeared without telling you where I went."
Envy said. "No problem brother, but next time please told me where you want to go, I will go with you too. I was very worried about you and looked for you in the forest also with some people of the town."
Hearing people of the town, Orge said, "Do they really wanted to search me, because my feelings for them from the start is not right. I don't know maybe I am wrong with understanding person nature but I don't like my own people."
Envy said, "You are right, these peoples are not the one to be trusted, these are like the snake who shed his skin after he is done with the prey."
Orge said, "Brother why did you said that, is everything alright, I don't think that everything went well when I was not there."
Envy said, "Leave it, but now onwards promise me that if anything happens you will share it to me and we will support each other."
Orge said, "I promise." .....
Envy said, "Brother it's almost night now, we should sleep now I am feeling burden on my shoulders after today's conversation with the Elder and the people."
Orges aide, "Yes brother I too want to sleep now I am very tired with my journey in the forest."
Both the twins set a fire and lay besides it, the flickering flames casting shadow on their face, seeing Envy replied, "Orge do you see the flames,"
Orge said, "yes brother, but what's the context behind this?"
Envy replied, "Context is simple, in one's life the fire represents the good deeds a person had for someone and shadow represents the effect of deeds on another. To which we can say that mother nature was having good deeds of saving the forest by watering but the effect left behind is mother swan losing her children in the first place."
To this Orge said, "You are absolutely right brother, sometimes when we do good for someone, we are doing bad to someone else."
"Our actions are the future of the another person," "But what we can say about the people of the town who were trying to abandon us."
Envy said, "I don't have words for them, but what I have for them is my hate towards them."…
