Chapter 21 - Act 19 - Field Trip with Hikami

The train to Hakone rumbled along, cutting through scenic hills and lush valleys bathed in golden spring sunlight. Sakura petals danced in the breeze, trailing alongside the glass windows as excited students filled the train car with chatter, bento boxes, and the occasional scream from a game of Uno gone too far.

Gojo leaned his head against the window, earbuds in, while Suma clung to his arm with a smug smirk and Hiyori blushed beside him, clutching her manga volume like a lifeline.

Across the aisle, Hikami-sensei, dressed in a stylish, figure-hugging teacher outfit that seemed better suited for a date than a school trip, stood with a mic.

"Ahem! Everyone, quiet down!"

The entire train car hushed. Even the card-slapping boys froze.

Hikami flashed her dazzling smile. "Welcome to our field trip to Hakone, one of Japan's most beautiful scenic towns! You'll find natural hot springs, stunning mountains, the famous Hakone Shrine, and—" she paused, twirling the mic, "—plenty of chances for… special memories."

Her eyes lingered a second too long on Gojo.

Suma glared.

Hiyori turned red.

Gojo adjusted his collar. This train's hotter than it should be...

"After we arrive," Hikami continued, "students will be divided into exploration groups. You'll be given maps, snacks, and... freedom. But don't go too far. And keep your pervy behavior in check."

The class laughed.

Gojo shrank in his seat.

Hikami walked past him, whispering in his ear, "Except you, of course. I expect full perviness later."

He choked on his juice.

Hakone Afternoon

The class broke into groups. Gojo was about to join Suma and Hiyori when—

"Gojo-kun," Hikami called sweetly. "You're with me. Sensei's orders."

Suma's jaw dropped. "HUH?! Sensei privilege?!"

Hiyori clutched her camera, betrayed.

Hikami winked at them. "Girls, go have fun at the shrine. I'll take care of our Gojo."

Gojo was too stunned to resist.

Soon, he found himself strolling through mossy forest trails, flanked by sacred torii gates, next to the temptingly curvy form of his homeroom teacher. Her ponytail swayed with every step, her white blouse barely containing her assets.

"Ever been here before, Gojo?" she asked, fingers lacing behind her back.

"N-No," he muttered, eyes trailing down her swaying hips. "First time…"

She grinned. "Firsts are special."

They reached a lookout point just in time for the sun to dip behind the mountains.

Orange bled into violet. Clouds turned gold. The wind whispered like poetry.

Hikami stood close—too close.

"You know," she whispered, "hot springs were originally used by lovers. The heat... brings hearts closer."

Gojo gulped.

"I thought it was for healing."

"Same thing."

She turned to face him. Their faces were inches apart. Her breath smelled of mint and mischief.

Before Gojo could lean in—

Ring ring!

Suma's voice screeched from his phone.

"GOJO, I FOUND A FOX SHRINE AND THERE'S A GIANT RABBIT—YOU'RE MISSING IT!"

He sighed.

Hikami giggled.

That Night – Hotel Osen

The group reached Hotel Osen, a luxurious old-style inn nestled between misty hills, known for its legendary hot spring baths.

"Girls to the left, boys to the right!" the hotel clerk shouted.

Gojo entered the men's side, towel around his waist, steam rising all around him. The bath was huge—natural stone with flowing spring water. He dipped in, sighing in pleasure.

"This is heaven…"

Suddenly, the door creaked.

Gojo turned—

Suma.

Wearing only a towel. Blushing furiously. Her hair was tied up in a bun, her legs long, and water droplets slid down her shoulders.

"S-Sensei said we could use the family bath too, so... I thought..." She looked away, but stepped into the water.

Gojo's eyes widened. "Wait—this is the boys'—!"

"Shh! No one will know."

She slid beside him. Her shoulder touched his. Her thigh grazed his.

"W-We're just enjoying the water, right?" she whispered, cheeks pink. "Just friends... bathing. Totally normal..."

Gojo stared ahead, sweating in the water.

Then she added, "Unless... you want to do more than bathe?"

He splashed water in his face.

She giggled.

Across the inn, Hiyori walked alone through the moonlit garden, eyes tracing the koi pond and maple trees.

She heard laughter from the bath.

Saw silhouettes through the paper windows.

Her heart squeezed.

She turned to leave—

"Wait," Gojo's voice called.

He stood by the bath door, hair wet, towel loosely hanging, chest bare.

Hiyori froze.

"Want to walk with me?" he asked.

She nodded.

They walked together under the moonlight, silence hanging between them until—

"I wanted this trip to mean something," Hiyori said. "Not just flirting and chaos. Something real."

Gojo stopped.

"I know," he said. "I do too."

She turned to him.

Their eyes met.

Then she stepped forward—and kissed him.

Hard. Deep. Her arms wrapped around his neck.

His hand found her waist, pulling her closer.

Her lips tasted like sweet tea and want.

She moaned softly into the kiss.

"I... I wanted this for so long," she whispered, panting.

"So did I," he whispered back.

She kissed him again, slower this time. Their bodies pressed together. Her fingers tangled in his hair.

Gojo lost himself in it.

When they finally parted, the world was spinning.

"I... I should go," she said, cheeks red, eyes bright.

"Yeah..." Gojo said breathlessly.

She ran off, heart racing.

He stood there, dazed, lips tingling.

Later That Night

The boys' room was peaceful.

Gojo lay in his futon, heart still pounding.

Hiyori kissed me...

He touched his lips.

Then the futon shifted.

A soft weight settled beside him.

He turned.

Hikami.

Wearing a thin yukata, loosely tied. One shoulder bare. Cleavage more visible than cloth.

She slid under his blanket.

"Sensei?!"

She put a finger on his lips.

"Shh. I couldn't sleep. Thought I'd borrow your warmth."

She pressed closer. Her body soft and warm against his.

"You're hard," she whispered.

"I'M NOT—WELL—IT'S NOT MY FAULT—"

She giggled. "Relax. Let Sensei take care of you..."

Her hand trailed down his chest.

Gojo froze.

"Or," she whispered, lips brushing his ear, "you could pretend I'm not here. And let me do all the work."

Gojo's brain exploded.
