Dante Alighieri..?
"The creator of Divine Comedy?" I asked as she nodded.
"Hehe... yes! I also created this place you're in... This cell, Everything here in this floor is made by Me! Dante Alighieri!" She says proudly.
I looked at her questioning the truth in her words.
"Well Look! I'll help you Miyamoto Musashi... hehe... I'll do it because I'm a fan.." She said as she then stood up from the ground, she began walking towards a door and opened it.
[ Entering The library of the wise. ]
A message popped up as I entered following her.
Once we entered It was a place filled with shelves and books scattered everywhere, There I saw A table paired with two chairs as she then sat down and gestured for me to sit in front her.
Once sitting, Dante looked at me and then offered me a book.
"This is what I'm known for." She said smiling as I looked at the title.
La Divina Commedia.
"I see.. But i have to ask, Where even are we?" I asked as she then smirked proudly.
"We're in a dungeon connected to a library and well on the outside its a temple but it's actually meant to trap you all here!" She laughed as she said those words.
"Why though..?" I asked as suddenly a voice was heard as Dante's eyes widened she grabbed my arm and suddenly pulled me under the table with her.
"H-He's here..." She whispered as she gestured to shush.
Footsteps can be heard as a muffled disturbing voice was heard.
"Where are you...? Dante..." He spoke with each word that came out of his mouth exuding a massive amount of fear.
Dante clung to me in fear as I looked at her under the table and then looked as the guy began walking.
I couldn't see him clearly and all i heard was his voice, yet that was enough to make me feel fear.
More footsteps were heard as then a door opened and then the man left.
Once he left I looked at Dante's expression as she was sweating and almost growing tearful from fear and nervousness.
"Are you okay?" I asked as she looked at me and then shaking she said.
"Y-Yeah... I'm just... Scared." Dante was really scared.
She finally lets go as I then went back to my seat and so did she.
"So... Who was that?" I asked as Dante seemed scared just by mentioning him.
"I-I don't know.... I think he owns this library." She said as I then looked at her curiously.
Suddenly a pang of realization came to me as my eyes widened.
The man left... The door he used.. isn't that where... Emi and the others were?!
I hurriedly stood up and looked at Dante.
"Did he leave in the direction of the others?! That door!" I asked angrily as she nervously nodded.
In an instant I ran for the door and opened the door.
Gosh I hate this...
"Hey! What are you doing?!" I shouted at the man who seemed to be wearing a cloak and a hood covering his behind.
he began turning around towards my direction.
He was wearing an eerie mask that covered his face thus I had no idea on his true identity.
"Leave them." I said as he was about to stab Tsukasa.
You've been awake for a while haven't you? You've seen through this simulation same as me and was ready yet pretended to be stuck.
Get up, Tsukasa!
As those thoughts were in my mind it was as if he heard me as he then grabbed the knife from the mysterious mans hand and then kicked him.
At this moment. Me and Tsukasa are sharing the same thought.
We ought to protect the others.
Gripping my swords as the guy was now on the ground I rushed towards him to try and attack yet.
He managed to grab my swords and then his hand began changing as they now formed the same swords i was holding as he tried to go for my head.
I quickly dodge and then kicked him towards Tsukasa.
Tsukasa understood what I wanted him to do as he tried to attack and then suddenly.
The man vanishes.
Without a single trace left of him, He's gone.
"So, Mind explaining yourself? Musashi." Tsukasa said as he looked at me
I explained everything as we then walked towards the library again.
"Dante, I'm back." I said as Dante then quickly walked towards me.
"I-Is he dead?!" She asked as I shook my head.
"He disappeared when we tried to attack him." I said as I then pointed at Tsukasa.
"This is Tsukasa, He's an uh.. Acquaintance."
"So this guy is trustworthy?" Dante asked as I then nodded.
"I assure you, Miss. Alighieri. You can trust me." He said as he smiled a warm friendly smile.
It seems like Dante still looked at Tsukasa with doubt. I have to hand to her that she wasn't easy on trusting people.
"Dante, Can you remove the others from the simulation?" I asked as she then shook her head.
"I can't." She said as she then spook.
"I won't remove it unless you, Musashi help me with this strange man." She said pointing at me.
"Oh... Uh.. Sure." I replied as her eyes widened.
"That fast?!" She said as I nodded.
"Wait before you begin.. Look at my book!" She said as I looked at The Divine Comedy.
Grabbing the book I began reading it.
Once reading I felt myself and the two others get sucked in with me.
We were becoming characters in this book... Similar to how in this world, I'm but a fictional character.
Once we entered my eyes widened.
"Did we enter... The Divine Comedy?" I asked as Dante then nods as her once purple cloak turned red in color.
"Oh it seems I'm Dante in the divine comedy now!" She smiled happily.
"So why are we here?" I asked as she then replied.
"Because the man has to be from here! I just don't remember who he is! But I'm sure he's living in my book!" She said proudly as I then approached her and grabbed her shoulder.
"Are you serious?" I asked as she then nods sounding so sure of herself.
"I think I might have a clue." Tsukasa who was now wearing a cloak spoke.
"Why's he wearing a cloak too?" I asked as Dante replied.
"It appears they chose Tsukasa as Virgil! the poet that helps me out to paradisio."
"I know who it is." Tsukasa spoke as we both looked at him.
"Huh?" Me and Dante looked at him questioning Tsukasa's affirmness.
"It's Odysseus." Tsukasa said.
