David thought this as he observed the surrounding area. It was as if someone or something had absorbed all the light force from that part of the danger zone.
All the trees had turned black and withered. Everything was ruined. More importantly, from the moment you entered that area, you were affected by some kind of poison.
When David controlled the Emperor to step into that area, he was also affected by the poison. Fortunately, it was not that powerful.
This was probably because the Emperor was a game character and not a real person.
David kept controlling the Emperor, moving deeper into the danger zone. Until now, he had not seen a single monster.
That was the strangest thing he had noticed. Even back when the ghouls appeared in the danger zone, he had never seen such a change.
David decided to speed up to see if he could find any trace of the warriors.
