The Volkov dining table with Nikolai, Ivan and Elizabeth clanged with the faint movement of cutlery as they enjoyed a feast. Thanks to the chefs working on recipes for hundreds of years, even monsters could enjoy the meals prepared in the Volkov estate.
"How is Nikita?" Ivan asked while sipping his wine, taking a break from the steak.
Nikolai glanced up at his father, knowing that Nikita wasn't just his daughter-in-law but the daughter of his closest friend. The same for Nikita's mother, who was close to him. Their families existed as allies for decades thanks to this union.
"She's become quite aggressive, but her mood and health is good."
