Nikolai looked back once again, Nikita's calm breaths filling the air as he turned away. He stepped into the hallway and sighed. "Being a father feels heavy. Yet, I'm so excited..." He touched his chest and curled his lips. From the moment he felt their hearts beating and saw them inside her womb... everything became more real.
