In the years after the 1978 murders many of the people in haddonfield had forgot it but for some like Harry strode and his sister Lori they had never forgotten about it and also the kids they babysitted Tommy and Lindsey they never forgot about it either after the murders Harry left haddonfield he told Lori he would be back ,he went to the Marines stay there for 6 years and got discharged he came back to haddonfield and remembered what sheriff bracket had told him that he has a strong sense of justice and to become a police officer if he wanted to so that's what Henry did
In the years of him becoming officer he got to know Frank Hawkins which was his partner and his best friend as they both Rose to the ranks of deputy and he still talk to sheriff bracket from time to time bracket giving pointers and tips on how to be a good officer
