Chapter 14 - Part 18

Long ago the devil had thought he finished off the powerful imp type demons, but turned around to see his final opponent. The devil laughed as he underestimated the child.

Both Maestro, and Sylvester was still unable to move. Arkset continues to laugh as he watches them struggle. He then tells Sylvester to beg for forgiveness, or he'll crush him and his friend. Sylvester replied that if he could move he would flick him off as his response. Saying that had ticked off Arkset even more.

Suddenly Maestro's head started to hurt as the voice in his head tells him to submit to no one. Fire bursts from his eyes as he struggles to lift his right hand. He starts screaming in pain as he covers his hand in fire, and shoves it into the ground. Arkset laughed at Maestro's attempt stating that it was a good try. He then tells him that resistance is futile. Sylvester butted in telling Arkset not to underestimate the kid. Moments later, Arkset felt the ground shaking below him. A giant hand of fire rose from the ground, and grabbed him in a tight grip.

The force holding Maestro, and Sylvester had faded away. They both get up, and Sylvester asks what's next. Maestro replied that the next move is to get rid of his friend. Maestro pulled his arm out of the ground with his fist still engulfed with fire. Doing this caused the fire hand to yank Arkset downwards, pulling him into the ground. Maestro deactivates his flames as he stands up. The two stare at the rubble as they catch their breath. Sylvester then suggests that they should keep moving. The two turned around, and started walking across the bridge.

They made it halfway across before hearing the ground rumble. They turn around as Arkset breaks out of the ground, spreading his wings as he fly high in the air. He stares downwards at them in frustration. Sylvester stated that this isn't going to end well. Maestro agreed except he was referring to Akrset. Sylvester chuckled commenting on how his demon side was showing. Maestro responded it was due to him not liking Sylvester friends. At that moment, Arkset had snapped his fingers on both hands. Lifting up all the rubble, and debris that was around them. Multiple chunks of rock both large, and small gathered around Arkset. This time he was more focused on Maestro as the two stare each other seriously.

Maestro generated two fire blades then asked Sylvester to make him something that would get him in the air. Sylvester smiled then made green smoke, and told Maestro to jump in it. Maestro looked at the smoke in disbelief, but decided to trust Sylvester. He jumped into the smoke revealing a springed launch pad. Arkset had snapped his fingers once again to force all of the rubble towards the two of them. Maestro nodded at Sylvester as he launched him into the air heading directly towards the rocks.

One by one Maestro started slicing through the rubble. Due to his momentum going upwards as the rubble fall downwards, he was able to slice the rocks with ease. Maestro was even capable of landing on some of the rocks to keep himself in the air. Jumping from rock to rock as he spins around, flip over, and slice up the rubble in his way. Meanwhile, the remaining pieces of debris that wasn't destroyed by Maestro was still falling towards the bridge. Some rocks did break on contact with the bridge. Sylvester ran around dodging the rocks as they fell.

Maestro landed on a large rock then started running up the side. He sliced through two more rocks before jumping off of the large one. Mid air he turned his fire blades into whips, and wraps them around the large rock. He does a front flip to throw the rock at Arkset, but with a snap of his fingers the rock was forced to stop. He snapped his other fingers to push the rock directly towards Maestro. Putting his hands together, Maestro turned his whips into a fire great sword, and sliced through the middle of the rock. By then there were nothing left in between Maestro, and Arkset. Maestro was winding up a fearsome attack, but was stopped in place after Arkset snapped his fingers. He tells Maestro that he's too young to throw his life away like this. Asking if fighting for a clown like Sylvester was truly worth it. Maestro responded that it wasn't, but he's going to do it anyways. Arkset grunted in anger before snapping his fingers once again sending him crashing down towards the bridge.

Sylvester was currently still dealing with the remaining rocks that were falling. He raised his right arm while generating green smoke from it. A giant version of his hand formed out of the smoke. He swung backwards knocking away the rocks as the hand deformed immediately afterwards. He chuckled then stated that Maestro wasn't the only one who can create a large hand. He then noticed Maestro falling towards the bridge. He thought about Arkset before cracking a smile. Stating to himself how it was his turn to make a move. He placed both hands on the bridge while making a large amount of green smoke. Enough to completely cover a section of the bridge. Maestro landed in the smoke, and shortly after multiple clones of him shot out of it.

Arkset was frustrated seeing the green smoke, and even more upset seeing the clones. He moved out of the way to dodge some clones as they were approaching him. He noticed more were coming as the ones he dodged were falling back towards him. He was starting to feel overwhelmed, and snapped his fingers on both hands forcing all of the clones away. As the green smoke from the clones faded away, more clones was seen heading towards Arkset. Except these ones fused together to create a large clone of Maestro. Arkset used both hands to snap at the giant clone. The force bursted the clone sending green smoke everywhere. Arkset was struggling to see through all of the smoke. However, piercing through the smoke was Maestro with his right fist engulfed in a fire drill. Before Arkset could react he was hit right in the face by the drill. Maestro yelled as loud a he could as he put everything into this attack. The drill had increased in size as he drilled Arkset all the way to the ground. The landing had created a large dust cloud.
