Chapter 92 - Chapter 91: Kamen Rider Gatack

Yuko Kitajima stood frozen after hearing Sougo's heartfelt words. Without responding, she simply said, "I need some time alone," turned, and left.

Sougo thought she had taken his words to heart and would finally change her ways. But—

"You're guilty!"

The next day, Kitajima Yuko stormed into her ex-boyfriend's wedding venue, wielding a massive manhole cover.

The Queen of the Manhole Cover has returned to Earth!

Breaking news: Police Officer! We've found the person who stole the manhole cover!

"Stop it!" Sougo shouted as he ran inside.

"Don't interfere with me!" Kitajima Yuko roared, hurling the manhole cover toward him.

Sougo, frail as ever, reflexively ducked. The heavy metal disc instead struck Gates squarely in the chest—too slow to dodge.

"Damn it!" Gates cried out in agony before collapsing.

"Gates!" Tsukuyomi rushed to catch him as he fainted.

Sougo: "…"

[Kiva!]

"Leave this to me!" Kitajima Yuko transformed into the monstrous version of Kiva, summoning Pasha and Dega to block Sougo and Woz while she pursued the fleeing bride and groom.

As for Garulu? She hadn't summoned him—not because a 2v2 was enough after Gates was knocked out, but because Uncle Wolf had already defected and wouldn't respond to her summons.

"You're guilty! All of you are guilty!" Kitajima Yuko shouted maniacally as she closed in on her ex and his new wife.

Sougo, anxious, retrieved the Kiva Ridewatch but hesitated to use it.

Noticing this, Woz clenched his jaw, shoved Pasha aside, and stepped forward with his newest upgrade.

[Ginga (Galaxy)!]

[Action!]

[Projection! FinallyTime!]

[Gin-GinGa-GaGalaxy! Fantasy Beyond the Universe!]

[WozGingaFinally!]

[Finally!]

"Congratulations! The strongest in the universe... well, second... no, maybe third strongest!"

Woz muttered to himself, his pride quickly deflating as he recalled the power of the Demon King and Ryuga. The proclamation changed mid-sentence from "strongest" to "third strongest."

"Whatever! The point is, this is Kamen Rider Woz's Galaxy Final Form!"

And Gates? Who cares?

"Are you done talking yet?" Kitajima Yuko was visibly annoyed. Honestly, she didn't want to wait for Woz's monologue, but the screenwriter insisted that the debut of a new suit always gets priority. Even Sougo's Kiva suit had to be cut due to budget constraints.

Finally, the battle resumed.

Kitajima Yuko launched a swarm of energy bats toward Woz.

"Bring it on!" Woz activated his cape, transforming the battlefield into a celestial starfield.

[FinallyBeyondTheTime!]

[Super Ginga Explosion!]

After taking Woz's signature finishing move head-on, the monstrous Kiva exploded—predictably so. As all scriptwriters know, new suits must shine, even if that means instantly defeating last week's villain.

Once Kitajima Yuko was defeated, Dega and Pasha—who had been holding off Sougo—instantly reverted to hammer and gun toys, clattering harmlessly to the ground.

Sougo rushed forward to catch Yuko as she plummeted from midair.

"Sister Yuko!"

"Sougo... You don't need an umbrella. Be an umbrella for all humanity," Yuko murmured, her neck going limp as she fainted. Thankfully, after a monstrous rider is defeated, the person inside is typically unharmed...

Boom!

A purple energy blast suddenly struck her. In an instant, all her life force was drained.

"!!!" Sougo looked up, stunned. Swartz hovered in the air, grinning maliciously.

Hmph. That woman stole my line, too? Unforgivable!

"Sister Yuko!" Sougo cradled her lifeless body and cried out in anguish.

And thus, the King's beloved second sister was taken from him—while he still didn't know where the first had gone.

The Next Morning…

At breakfast, Sougo listlessly stirred his food, chopsticks clinking against the bowl without purpose. Ryuga resisted the urge to slap him.

"Seriously? You still haven't told him?" he asked Gates, irritated.

"Uh..." The trio looked at one another.

You go.

No, you.

No way, it's your turn!

In the end, they nominated Tsukuyomi by silent vote.

With a deep breath, Tsukuyomi explained the truth about Yuko Kitajima.

"What?!" Sougo stood up so fast the table shook.

"So all of you knew... and you just watched me like I was some joke?!"

"No! It was his idea!" Tsukuyomi immediately pointed at Woz.

"He said you needed to experience this to become a true king!"

"Yeah!" Gates nodded fervently.

Woz: Why do my eyes always feel misty? Because I carry too many burdens... and too many scapegoats.

Sougo beat Woz half to death, but eventually, Ryuga and the rest were able to finish their breakfast.

Later That Week…

"This is the site of last night's meteorite impact. As you can see, the damage is significant," the news anchor reported.

"Why do these meteorites keep falling lately?" Tsukuyomi wondered aloud.

"Could it be related to the Kamen Rider Galaxy from last time?" Sougo speculated.

"Doubtful," Woz replied, pointing at the live broadcast.

Onscreen, the reporter suddenly transformed into a green, worm-like creature and lunged at the cameraman.

"What is that?!" Sougo and Gates leaned toward the TV.

"Zergs," Woz explained. "Alien creatures capable of mimicking human appearances."

"They once battled Kamen Rider Kabuto. It's written here in my book, The Advent Calendar of Every Demon."

"Then we might be able to obtain Kabuto's Ridewatch this time," Gates said.

"Maybe," Tsukuyomi agreed.

"But we need to handle this first!" Sougo said, pointing urgently at the screen.

He dragged Gates and Tsukuyomi out the door just as a new meteor streaked across the sky.

"A meteorite again?" Tsukuyomi muttered.

"Another Zerg inside?" Gates guessed.

"We'll split up," Sougo decided. "Tsukuyomi and I will check out last night's crash site. Gates, you and Woz go to the new one."

"Why am I always stuck with Woz?" Gates complained. "You and Tsukuyomi are clearly a pair. It's so unfair!"

"Please!" Sougo grinned and bolted with Tsukuyomi in tow.

Gates sighed. "Woz…"

"Woz?!"

But Woz hadn't followed. He was still leisurely finishing breakfast.

With no choice, Gates stormed back inside to fetch him.

Sougo and Tsukuyomi arrived at the meteorite site from the previous night. Strangely, there were no signs of Zerg—just emergency personnel managing the damage.

Sougo approached them for questions, but suddenly—

They all transformed into Zerg and lunged!

"Sougo, look out!" Tsukuyomi shouted.

Startled, Sougo barely dodged the incoming strike. Gunfire rang out, drawing the Zerg's attention.

"Huh?" Sougo turned to see a blue-armored Rider advancing, a cannon resting on his shoulder.

Kamen Rider Gatack — Armored Form.

The man behind the armor: Kagami Arata!

"Get out of here!" Kagami shouted, mistaking Sougo for a civilian, then charged the Zerg.

"I'll help!" Sougo transformed and joined the battle, excited to meet a new Rider.

The ordinary Zerg proved no match for two seasoned Riders. Within minutes, they cleared the area.

Just as they began to relax, a shadow blitzed past them at impossible speed.

"What the—?!" Sougo hit the ground, too stunned to react.

"PunchHopper?!" Kagami muttered, narrowing his eyes.

He reached for the Zecter on his belt and flicked its antenna.

[Cast Off!]

[Change Stag Beetle!]

His heavy armor burst apart, transforming into Kamen Rider Gatack — Rider Form.
