The werewolf army had ground to a halt fifteen minutes away from the Red Moon Coven's forest, the air thick with the scent of damp earth, rot and the taste of what was to come. Viola had insisted on this final stop because she needed a special type of blackthorn root and a black-tinted yellow hibiscus flower--a rarer species that only grew around there. The two plants were the final ingredients needed to brew the draught that would surge magical energy through her veins, enough to shatter the barrier and unfortunately end her life in the process.
