As Miura looked at Maeda with a frown, he then stated those words in conviction.
And Captain Haruta, although he knew that they were in a precarious situation, still answered firmly!
As swordsmen from the Warrior Department, they had been deployed nearly everywhere, missions with no full or false intels or even no intel at all, they've been in these kinds of situations, and quite a few times at that!
Although those times were not as dangerous as it was right now, regardless, they still need to fight it out to know if they've got a chance or not!

But Maeda heard Miura's words and laughed even more.
"HAHAH! GO! KILL THESE SO CALLED TEAMMATES OF HIS! I'LL PERSONALLY KILL THIS SON OF A BITCH!"

With his order, the swordsmen behind him ran past the both of them as they surrounded Captain Haruta and the other five!
"Dammit! Defensive Counter Formation!!"
Haruta shouted hastily as the six of them formed a circle formation.
Within the department, they've been Taught quite a few team formations where they either had to breakthrough a huge number of enemies or to protect someone that either had been injured or their mission itself was to protect the client!
The defensive counter formation was something they had already counted on countless times!
They already instinctively knew the distance of each other, just enough for their own attacks to fend enemies off, but not near enough to accidentally injure their own teammates!
And this formation had Captain Haruta at the middle of the circle!
But he wasn't there to be protected, but rather, he was the counter and or support of the formation!

As their swords clashed, the five members of the team just parried the ongoing attacks, as inside the circle, Captain Haruta shouted 'back' along with numbers.
And with each shout, a member of the formation would slightly back off with a crouch after parrying, then Captain Haruta would dash at that member side as he tried to attack the enemies, or support a struggling member from one of the attacks of one of the master level swordsmen!
Miura looked at them with a frown.
He knew that he needs to finish his fight with his brother as the team can't keep holding on forever.
And by the looks of things, the three Master Level swordsmen weren't going all out either.
They were just feeling out the team's coordination and was just waiting for exhaustion to kick in!

As Miura frowned at the situation of his team, Maeda suddenly arrived in front of him slashing forward with a wild grin!
"What?! Getting worried?! Don't worry! I'll send them to you after killing you first!"
"Shut up!"

Both of them backed off after a bit of 'Bite' with their katanas.

Then quickly after, Miura attacked with a Quick Draw technique!
In the early days of their team, all of them knew the Quick Draw technique, but after Lime demonstrated it's efficiency, ( although Lime was not as fast as Eiji, her Blood Sword Powers made up for it. ) most of them started practicing the technique more seriously.
In Miura's case though, he just wanted to impress Lime by using the techniques or anything that Lime's had her attention on.

"Huh?! Fast-!"

Maeda was shocked at the sudden quickness of Miura. He managed to block it with his katana, but he was blown nearly a meter away!
*Tremble!!
Maeda looked at his trembling hands.
'Dammit! What speed and strength! Why is the gap between us still so huge?! I'm also at the Master Level!'
Maeda though in his heart as he looked at Miura with hatred!
Miura also felt the gap between the two of them.
'In fact, his basics are solid, and the volume of his Ki, I have to say, is even higher than mine!
But! In the end, he still doesn't have enough experience when it comes to real fighting!'
Miura's thoughts were right.
Maeda also understood his own situation.
'It seems like I still need more experience!'

The two of them clashed as Maeda tried to overpower Maeda with raw ki and wild swings!
While Miura kept Maeda's attacks at bay, and countered at every chance he gets!

But as Maeda said, he had the best training partner in front of him!
As the battle progreesed, Maeda slowly and surely adapted and learned quickly in terms of applying strength in his attacks, his change of speed and even feinting here and there in his attacks!

Both of them panted as they separated.
Miura frowned a he felt chills all over his body!
There were a lot of wounds in his body right now, and his Warrior Department robes were soaked in blood.
But most of them were superficial wounds, what made him scared was the learning ability of his elder brother!
'He wasn't lying! He really does learn fast! Even managing to copy the Quick Draw technique!'
Miura grimly thought.
"HAHAH! MORE! LET'S FIGHT MORE!!!"
On the other hand, Maeda felt like he was so high!
Everything felt so smooth, and each attacks and defensive patterns of Miura's swordsmanship felt so novel and amazing in his mind!
He was absorbing so much experience from Miura that he was able to apply them instantly and even add his own unique flare in it!
"I'll end it this time!"
Miura frowned as he stated his words coldly!
