"Stop talking about this and hurry up, we need to treat it immediately!" Ash urged with concern in his voice. Nurse Joy nodded understanding the urgency of the situation.

"Chansey, come quickly!" she called out.

With her signal, Chansey swiftly pushed the medical cart over to where they stood. Under normal circumstances, if a Trainer had caused their Pokemon to suffer such severe injuries, Nurse Joy would inevitably scold the Trainer responsible, despite her role as a healer.

However, since it was Ash who brought the injured Pokemon, and she had treated Ash's team the previous night without seeing an Electabuzz among them, she knew this wasn't one of his Pokemon. The Electric-type must belong to someone else or be wild.

Without wasting any precious time, Chansey positioned the cart properly while Ash carefully lifted the unconscious Electabuzz onto the medical bed. He followed the cart all the way to the emergency room entrance before being asked to stop and wait outside.

"Pikachu, is it really the same one?" Ash asked, standing by the emergency room door as he looked down at his faithful partner beside him.

"Pika-pi!" Pikachu responded with a firm nod, confirming what Ash suspected.

The Jigglypuff resting on Ash's head tilted its round body slightly, clearly confused about what was happening around them.

Listening to Pikachu's confident response, Ash felt certain that his initial feeling had been correct. This badly injured Electabuzz was indeed the same Elekid they had encountered some time ago in this very city.

During the time that had passed since their first meeting, the young Electric-type had evolved from Elekid into its more powerful Electabuzz form. However, Ash frowned with worry as he sat down in the waiting area, wondering how the Pokemon could have sustained such serious injuries in the first place.

Before long, Officer Jenny arrived at the Pokemon Center, followed shortly by Misty and Brock who had hurried over after hearing about the emergency.

"Ash! How is Electabuzz doing?" Misty asked breathlessly as she approached.

"Nurse Joy is still treating it in the emergency room," Ash replied, glancing toward the closed door with obvious concern.

The three friends looked at each other with worried expressions, then turned their attention to the emergency room door. After a moment, Misty spoke up hesitantly.

"Ash, this Electabuzz... is it from that time when we..."

"Yes," Ash confirmed before she could finish her question, nodding slightly. His companions understood immediately what he meant. This was definitely the same Pokemon they had helped before, just in its evolved form.

Officer Jenny had mentioned earlier that she hadn't seen the little Electric-type for quite some time and had assumed it had left the city after evolving. She never expected it to still be living somewhere in the area.

However, Officer Jenny found this rather puzzling. She patrolled the city streets every single day as part of her duties, and the Pokemon had never left the city limits. Yet she couldn't recall seeing an Electabuzz during any of her regular rounds.

"I really hope it will be okay," Misty said softly. Knowing that this was the same Elekid that had helped them before made both she and Brock even more concerned about its condition. The little Pokemon had been such a great help to them in the past.

The group continued standing outside the emergency room, waiting anxiously for news about the Pokemon's condition. Suddenly, there was a commotion coming from outside the Pokemon Center, followed by the sound of panicked footsteps rushing toward them. Several teenagers came running through the entrance, looking around frantically.

"Officer Jenny, something terrible is happening! There's been an accident outside!" the teenagers called out in obvious distress. They had spotted Officer Jenny entering the Pokemon Center earlier and immediately rushed inside to find her when the incident occurred.

"What exactly happened out there?" Officer Jenny asked with a frown, her professional instincts kicking in immediately.

"Grimer! It's a whole group of Grimer!" one of them exclaimed in panic.

Officer Jenny looked startled when she heard this unexpected news.

"Grimer? Are you certain?"

"Yes, we're sure! They're destroying everything on the streets!" another teenager confirmed.

"What?!" Officer Jenny's expression showed complete disbelief as she processed what they were telling her. She had confidently stated earlier that there were no problems with the local Grimer population, but now something had clearly gone very wrong.

Without wasting another moment on questions, Officer Jenny immediately ran outside to assess the situation. Ash, Misty, and Brock heard the commotion and exchanged concerned glances with each other.

Since Electabuzz wouldn't be released from treatment anytime soon, and given the urgency of what was happening outside, the three friends decided to follow Officer Jenny and see what they could do to help.

Once they reached the street, both Brock and Misty gasped in shock at the scene before them. A large number of Grimer were rampaging through the city streets without any regard for the damage they were causing, looking unusually aggressive and hostile.

Thick, toxic sludge covered the walls and roads throughout the affected area. The glass windows of several buildings had been shattered, and many walls were completely coated in the Poison-types' muddy secretions.

Many of the Grimer continued their assault by launching Sludge Bomb attacks at random targets, while terrified pedestrians ran for safety in all directions, screaming in fear.

"How could this possibly be happening?!" Officer Jenny stared wide-eyed at the chaotic scene unfolding before them. The situation appeared to be spiraling completely out of control.

At that moment, one of the rampaging Grimer seemed to notice the Pokemon Center behind them. The Poison-type turned around and prepared to launch an attack directly at the medical facility, gathering sludge for a devastating strike.

"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded quickly.

"Pika-chuuu!" Pikachu cried out as it leaped from Ash's shoulder.

Pikachu unleashed a powerful Thunderbolt that collided directly with the Grimer's Sludge Bomb attack. The two moves clashed intensely in midair before Pikachu's Electric-type attack overpowered the Poison-type move, pushing it back and striking the attacking Grimer directly.

"We need to stop all of them!" Ash called out as he surveyed the chaotic scene.

Following Ash's instruction, Pikachu began using Discharge, spreading electrical current in all directions across the surrounding area. The attack struck the ground around the Grimer rather than hitting them directly, serving as a warning rather than causing serious harm.

The strategy worked exactly as intended. Seeing the impressive electrical display sparking everywhere around them, the Grimer were clearly startled and intimidated by the show of power. They began retreating toward the surrounding streets, lifting manhole covers and disappearing underground one by one.

With the immediate crisis resolved, Pikachu landed gracefully in front of Ash. Officer Jenny let out a deep sigh of relief as she surveyed the now-quiet street.

"Thank you so much, Ash!" she said gratefully. "Just like last time, you've really saved the day for us."

"It was nothing," Ash replied modestly, shaking his head as if his actions were perfectly ordinary.

However, his mind was far from peaceful. Officer Jenny had assured them earlier that everything in the city had been completely calm and normal. Now, suddenly, an Electabuzz was severely injured and the Grimer population had begun attacking the city without warning.

Could there be some connection between these two seemingly separate incidents? Ash wondered to himself. Perhaps only the injured Electabuzz would be able to provide answers to what was really happening.

"What in the world is going on here?" both Brock and Misty asked, clearly confused by the sudden turn of events.

"I honestly don't know," Officer Jenny admitted with a troubled frown. "There were absolutely no warning signs of anything like this happening. I'm going to investigate this matter thoroughly and try to get to the bottom of it."

With that promise, Officer Jenny bid farewell to the three trainers and left to begin her investigation. Ash, Misty, and Brock didn't have much more to say about the situation, so they returned to the Pokemon Center to continue waiting for news about Electabuzz's medical treatment.

As they settled back into the waiting area, a television in the Pokemon Center lobby began broadcasting breaking news about the incident they had just witnessed.

"This is a special news report from Gringey City. Approximately thirty minutes ago, major urban areas throughout Gringey City were attacked by large numbers of Grimer, causing serious environmental pollution and extensive property damage to city streets and buildings."

The news anchor continued with a serious expression. "The motivation behind the Grimer attacks remains completely unknown at this time, and local police authorities are conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter."

"We will now hear from Mr. Honda, a dedicated environmental protection advocate, to get his perspective on this unprecedented incident and what it might mean for our city's future."

The broadcast continued as Ash and his friends watched with growing concern, wondering what could have possibly triggered such unusual and aggressive behavior from the normally reclusive Poison-types.
