Pu Yanlan, without a trace of a living person's breath, stood atop that beast's corpse. Frantic members of the Beast Race roared and howled around her, yet none saw her, merely running wildly past. Pu Yanlan stood quietly in her place, waiting for the moment to enter the Nine Returns Array. Meanwhile, in the half-sky at the back of the battlefield, a group of black-robed figures hovered silently watching the scene. Suddenly, someone exclaimed,
"Huh... since when was there someone there?"
At this voice, several black-robed individuals turned to look,
"What is she doing standing there?"
Someone asked in confusion, and a thin black-robed figure focused for a moment, looked around, and asked,
"Does anyone know her? Why is she there? Is she on your side?"
Everyone shook their heads,
"She's not one of ours!"
"Don't know her!"
The slender black-robed person immediately frowned, and after a moment suddenly shouted,
"Not good, she's entering the Nine Returns Array..."
