Beneath the lush canopy of trees, the villa presented a dreamy and warm facade. White walls and warm gray wooden shingles, complemented by large glass windows, made it look exceedingly comfortable. Everywhere, the scenery was framed to reveal a vibrant, lively beauty.
However, the large windows, designed for light, were covered with thick gauze curtains, blocking any gaze from outside and shielding the interior from the pervasive daylight.
It was indeed very mysterious.
The white iron fence of the yard was not closed, instead leaving a very narrow gap.
The courtyard held a mix of withered, dun-colored leaves and lush green plants currently in season. It presented a pristine, wild state—neither decaying nor neglected—possessing a vibrant yet tranquil allure that captivated the eye.
A brand-new leather lounge chair sat on the veranda. It was perfectly positioned so it wouldn't be drenched by the driving rain, nor would it obstruct sunbathing during the day or moon-gazing at night.
