Jian Xi smiled and continued watching TV.
Impressive? Not really. She was just following her own heart. She didn't understand why they were so afraid of Edward.
In the afternoon, the kitchen made the mixed sauce noodles that Jian Xi wanted to eat. Although the taste wasn't as authentic as Jiangcheng's, it was still passable.
A big bowl of noodles—Jian Xi moved it in front of her and started eating. Spicy and tasty, she enjoyed every bite, soup and all.
Edward, Anthony, and Helena just watched as she savored the meal. When she finished, Helena softly asked, "Was it good?"
"Yeah." Jian Xi nodded, "The flavor's not quite there, but it's decent!"
Jian Xi felt full and in a good mood!
"Boss, I want to taste it too." Helena looked at Edward, and since there were no outsiders here, she showed her girlish side, "Cousin, have the kitchen make me a bowl too."
Actually, Edward wanted to try it too—watching Jian Xi eat had almost made him drool!
