Inside the bar, the Ghost Face Gang members wearing their eerie masks formed a dense black mass, slowly encircling the twenty or so members of the Z-group on stage. The overlapping shadows seemed to swallow much of the light, creating a suffocating and oppressive atmosphere.
Many of the Z-group members started to feel uneasy. Besides a few elite fighters, most of them were former peripheral members with average strength. Even with the power of the Connection, they struggled to compete against such overwhelming numbers.
Seeing the trapped individuals shrink back, no longer as brazen as before, the masked leader in the suit burst into boisterous laughter.
"Oh? You're scared now? With all that bluster earlier, I thought you were something special!"
"Relax, relax. I might not have the best temper, but I do have a kind heart. If each of you kneels and apologizes sincerely, I might just let you go."
