Alan Wicks is now very anxious.
He never thought things would become this complicated and dangerous.
Two days ago, like many others in Washington, he was taken into FBI headquarters, and following his boss Trey Layman's instructions, he gave a false account.
After sifting through his interrogation records, the FBI found no issues with his statement and released Alan Wicks. The next day, they also released his boss Trey Layman.
This eased Alan Wicks' mind at the time, making him think the FBI was nothing special.
But just a day later, his boss Trey Layman was taken again, with news soon spreading that Trey Layman had suddenly died at the FBI headquarters!
Knowing the relationship between Trey Layman and Edgar Hoover, Alan Wicks was immediately terrified. He wasn't sure if Edgar Hoover was behind his boss's death, but he knew Edgar Hoover was the prime suspect.
