Long Chen frowned slightly. It seemed he couldn't leave without accepting the Spirit Stones.
He had already explained himself, but ridiculously, the Martial Academy Steward refused to believe him.
"Since you insist on giving them to me, I'll accept," Long Chen said with a cold laugh as he put away the Storage Bag.
However, just as Long Chen was about to leave, a gray-robed elder suddenly stopped him.
"Wait a moment."
The gray-robed elder gestured. "Since you claim to have refined the 150,000 Superior Spirit Stones that disappeared, then prove it."
Long Chen had no reason to refuse. He cupped his fist and asked, "If I prove it, will I still need to compensate you for the Spirit Stones?"
"You really think you have that kind of ability? If I were you, I'd take the Spirit Stones and get lost!" the Martial Academy Steward scoffed.
