Jing Tianchen stood not far from her doorstep, his phoenix-like eyes fixed on her house.
Ming Lan broke into a smile, running towards Jing Tianchen, "What are you doing here? I haven't even thanked you for that day, and you just left. Do you live nearby?"
Jing Tianchen didn't respond, his gaze still directed at Ming Lan's home.
"Oh, I won't talk much with you. Yuxin has a fever, I need to go buy her some medicine."
Ming Lan finished speaking and hurriedly ran off towards the pharmacy.
When Ming Lan left, Jing Tianchen again looked toward Ming Lan's house and began walking in that direction.
Mother Ming had left early today to sell the clothes she made at the market, so only Mo Yuxin was at home.
Ming Lan, worried about Mo Yuxin, hadn't closed the door tightly, which allowed Jing Tianchen to easily enter the house.
He glanced around the room, then moved to the left, gently pushing open a door, his eyes settling on Mo Yuxin.
