She walked into the room, heading to the corner where the cash was placed, and managed to lift it with difficulty.
"This is your money, I can't take it."
Mi Ai placed the cash on the table and pointed at the cash as she spoke to Mo Yuyan.
"It's yours, I don't want it."
Mo Yuyan's deep, alluring voice sounded. Mi Ai shook her head, her eyes still somewhat tipsy.
"Your money, take it back."
Mi Ai smiled, then headed towards her own room as her phone rang, "Hello."
"Mi Ai."
On the other end, Lee Zhichun's gentle voice came through.
Mi Ai sobered up a bit, "Lee Zhichun, what do you actually want?"
"Mi Ai, I know I was wrong. Can we forget the past and start over?"
"No, Lee Zhichun, stop bothering me."
Mi Ai hung up the phone; the tipsiness surged back, and she fell onto the bed, crying softly, having already forgotten that someone else was still outside.
"Why does it have to be this way? I've tried hard not to think about it."
