Kassandra's POV
The next day after Axel and Elyse's wedding, we're standing in front of each other to say goodbye. King Gavin, Queen Tarrah, King Devon, Queen Sunnie, and my in-laws had to go back to their palaces.
"Don't worry. We will be here on the coronation day of the two of you," Prince Gregory commented. He taps my husband's shoulder.
"After all, the two of you will be the king and queen first before us. We have to fix some issues, and next year, Dad will abdicate the throne and pass it on to us," Princess Astrid explained.
"As for me... I am planning to hold that event in three months. I have to assess the damage of our kingdom. Our people need my help before a feast," Queen Sunnie stated.
I smiled and embraced her. "You might be the youngest, but you're a strong woman. Don't worry. You'll make a great ruler," I said.
She smiled and grabbed something inside her pocket. "Earrings?" I whispered. She nods.
