He resented Kana at first. Kamille was young, and he needed someone to blame. And as days passed, he began to realize that even if Kana told him, everything would still happen.
Kamille's knees weakened, and his body collapsed to the ground.
Right, he resented Kana... but he never hated her. In his heart, Kana was still the closest to him, his only family.
Now, she was gone, and he witnessed her terrible death.
Kamille was momentarily dazed for a while, but he quickly snapped out of it. Kana's words echoed in his ears; her desire for him to escape made Kamille unable to fully mourn her death.
He needed to escape and live.
When his eyes roamed around, he immediately saw a backpack prepared for him and the notebook beside it. The note above it neatly shows the instructions on how to use the glowing device right in front of Kamille.
He did not know what it was, but he only knew that it was Kana's way for him to escape.
