After Vexalia calmed down, she ended up falling asleep to relax more, "Better that she's sleeping." Hylia said with a smile, picking her up, "Scrapper, you follow me now, we're in a bit of a hurry." She instructed the robot as she started walking to the top of the mountain.
In the meantime, Vexalia was dreaming again, but this time, it wasn't a dream about the Harbringer of Demise, instead, someone who looked a little familiar somehow, starry black hair, pitch black eyes, wrists and ankles covered in golden markings.
The place they were was weird, some kind of stone that Vexalia had never seen before, but that didn't interest Vexalia, there was only one thing on her mind at the moment, fighting.
"Now, without further ado..." Vexalia started, clenching her hand into a fist, "Your final challenge." She proclaimed almost automatically, only to then rush to the girl in front of her and uppercutting her with so much power that it caused the structure they were in to literally shatter and force them to be teleported to another place.
Standing in front of the girl, Vexalia took out her sword, which was glowing and leaking strings of light, "Win against me, and claim your spot as the hero of this era!" Vexalia instructed, prompting the girl to take out a sword of her own, also glowing, but the color of her hair.
The Great Destroyer, Averis.
Glaring at eachother for a few seconds, Averis made the first move, swinging her sword into an arch, sending a blade shaped energy wave that rapidly approached Vexalia, but before it could land a hit, Vexalia used her sword to absorb it.
With the energy now in the sword, it took only a forward thrust to shoot out a blast made of it, and it almost hit Averis, but luckily for her she managed to block, "Those tricks won't work on me." Vexalia warned before unleashing a powerful release of light that took the form of a swarm of birds.
The birds went on to all attack Averis, who unexpectedly opened her mouth and an incredible vacuuming force came from her throat, absorbing the entire swarm, absorbing the light they were composed of, and now she charged forwad, using the additional energy to be faster than normal.
Vexalia kept an eye on Averis' hand, noting every twitch that lead to the upward swing, easily blocked with the blunt side of her sword, "You're good..." Averis noted with a voice that echoed on itself, "You really are the first hero." She said in understanding.
That made said hero smile, "You're not bad yourself Princess of Hyrule." She complimented back before kicking Averis away, but that proved to be a mistake as a moment later, Vexalia found her shoulder getting stabbed by a rope dart.
Averis smirked in satisfaction, yanking the roped, pulling Vexalia towards herself, and then instead of using the sword, kicked her in the jaw, sending her rolling to the floor, only for her to get back up with a flip.
"Alright then, clearly I have to play rough." Vexalia mused, floating up in the sky and unleashing all the light she could muster, formin a giant pair of wings behind her and a long tail that ended in a sword.
The sight made Averis freeze, remembering something, but quickly snapped out of it as she slammed her fingers into the floor, pumping tons of energy into it, causing it to break apart and the pieces float upward.
Using the pieces allowed Averis to make her way up to Vexalia, who to impede her progress, began shooting light beams from her wings to destroy the platforms, until there was only the one where Averis was standing on.
As the moment the last beam was shot out, Averis jumped off, launching the rope dart at Vexalia, managing to get it anchored in her flesh, and with that, pulled out a pulley of some kind, and connecting it to the rope, pulling Averis towards Vexalia.
This made Vexalia prepare to block a sword swing, but much to her surprise, Averis covered her hand in the same energy she used to make the floor break, and spiked her with a fist, sending the hero to the ground.
Vexalia managed to stand up and look at her opponent, only to be pleasently surprised when she saw her inhale the wings she left up there and using the energy to shoot herself downward, thrusting the sword into Vexalia's head.
With the mortal damage, Vexalia fell to her knees, smiling in satisfaction, "You... Win... Hero of Hyrule..." She informed, before waking up in front of the entrance to the Fire Temple.
"...Where am I?" She asked in confusion, "After the Goddess helped you, you fell asleep, and to make things quicker, she decided to bring you here." Fi recounted, promtping Vexalia to get up, "And that dream?" She prodded further, "What dream are you referring to Mistress?" Fi asked.
That made Vexalia shake her head with a smile, "Nevermind, I feel like I'll figure it out in the future." She reassured the sword spirit before entering the Temple.
