Chapter 56: Miku And Sudo's Trial
SCENE 1: THE PATROL (Setup)
**Time:** 9:45 PM
**Location:** Residential area, south border
Sudo and Miku walked in tense silence.
Twenty minutes into their patrol. Zero conversation beyond logistics.
"Left at the next corner," Sudo said, checking the map.
"I can read a map," Miku replied curtly.
"Just confirming."
"Don't need confirmation."
Silence again.
The residential area was quieter than Sakura Avenue. Families behind lit windows. Children's voices. Dinner smells. Normal life, unaware of the borders being patrolled.
A bus stop ahead. Covered shelter. Bench. Schedule posted.
And two people.
SCENE 2: THE SITUATION (Escalation)
They saw it from half a block away.
A woman. Early twenties. Office clothes. Waiting for the bus, probably heading home from late shift.
A salaryman. Mid-forties. Suit rumpled. Tie loosened. Swaying slightly. Drunk.
