The Sentinel Social Worker arrived as soon as they could. Since it was late in the night, it took some time for them to arrive at the hospital.
The social worker was an A-ranked Sentinel with S-rank potential. He gave Yang some reference materials he could read while also signing him up for a training course for Sentinels through the Sentinel Association.
Once he finished that, he talked with Yang about funeral arrangements and contacted someone to help send Yang's sister off to be cremated.
When his parents passed, one of his uncles handled the arrangements, so he was thankful to have someone's help this time as well.
If it were up to him, he would stay with Eunseo a little longer, but he knew that her body needed to be put to rest.
Once everything was arranged, Yang slumped back into his chair and closed his eyes. Everything was moving so fast, and he felt like he was being pulled along by everyone helping him.
He was barely 23 years old, but he already had to say goodbye to his parents and sister forever. How could he not be exhausted?
Everyone in the room let Yang take a moment for himself, not rushing him to leave. Even if his sister's body was gone, none of the hospital staff told them to leave.
As they sat in silence, there was a knock on the door. Akimitsu opened the door and saw Liáng Huā and her husband.
"Sorry, we are late, Saem." Liáng Huā already had tears in her eyes. Silve kept her updated on what was happening, and she felt horrible not being able to get there earlier.
Their baby was extra fussy and didn't want to sleep. The moment she put the baby down to sleep, the baby would start crying, refusing to let go of her. Then, when she passed the baby to her husband, their baby would cry even louder.
After a night of crying, she was finally able to put her little girl to sleep. Thankfully, her baby was just fussy and not sick.
"Oh, Saem, can my husband and I give you a hug?"
Yang nodded. "Yes, thank you, Liáng Huā. You two didn't have to come so late…"
"No, we wanted to be there for you."
Liáng Huā and her husband gave Yang a tight hug. They said their condolences and told him that he was family and if he needed anything, they would always be there for him.
Yang Saem may have lost his biological family, but thankfully, he has a chosen family that has always been by his side.

Yang still lived at the workers' building on Ellery's estate. He didn't go back to work, but he did take the time to organize all of his family's belongings and reviewed the references the social worker had sent him.
He never expected he would one day be a Sentinel, and a late bloomer at that. He had always had a lot of spiritual energy, but it was strange that he never awakened.
Still, he found himself getting distracted and thinking about his family.
The social worker suggested he get therapy because losing all of his family members at a young age was traumatizing. When his sister was alive, he didn't want to give himself the chance to grieve and heal because someone needed to physically and mentally be there for his little sister, but now, it was about time that he took care of himself too…
He clicked on the link his social worker sent him about finding a therapist and searched through the list of providers, trying to find someone who he thought would be a good fit for him.
He also got his Sentinel rank tested and found out that he was currently A-rank, but his potential was S+ rank. He wasn't sure what the plus meant, but he knew that with his potential, he would sooner or later get recruited into the military.
Thankfully, he wasn't so opposed to it. Since he knew Akimitsu and Edros, he was more inclined to join the First Fleet. Well, he needed to train more before he could think about joining the military.
Yang spent his days planning and working toward the future until the day of the funeral.
The funeral was held in a Funeral Home owned by the Empire. It was not a business and was supplemented by the Empire.
None of his relatives showed up. He didn't know if it was because they were busy or embarrassed, but it saved him the hassle of having to deal with them.
His little sister was bedridden and stayed in the hospital for most of her life, so she didn't have any friends, but some of the nurses and doctors who took care of her showed up.
To support Yang, all of his friends and coworkers showed up; even some classmates and instructors from the academy came to give their support. Even if they weren't as close as he was with Ellery, Silve, and Liáng Huā, people showed up because of the many decent interactions they had with him.
Though Juniper and Edros were not close with him, a friend of Ellery's was a friend of theirs, so they also came to the funeral.
It wasn't Juniper and Ellery's first time at a funeral, so they were a lot calmer, but Silve and Liáng Huā wanted to cry even more for Yang. It was also their first funeral, so the emotions were intense.
Yang, like Juniper and Ellery, was calm, but the look on his face showed that he was ready to cry at any moment, so no one mentioned his lack of tears.
Some people gave him hugs while others patted him on the shoulders. After they gave their condolences, the people who were not as close to Yang left one after the other. Near the end of the funeral, only his close friends and coworkers were left with him.
"It's time for her to be cremated…" Yang motioned everyone to leave the funeral hall so the workers could bring her body to the cremation center.
"Let's all go back to my estate," Ellery said. Even though Juniper lived there, the house and land were in Ellery's name, so they had a habit of saying it was Ellery's estate.
"I already had the robots clean the extra rooms. Let's all celebrate not only the life of Yang Eunseo but also Yang's parents."
When people passed away, it was a tradition in the Zephyrus Galaxy to celebrate their life and death. The people of Zephyrus believed in reincarnation, so celebrating their life and death would ensure they reincarnate safely. They would also pray for their next reincarnations, hoping that those who died young would be able to live a longer life.
Unfortunately, Yang was not able to celebrate his parents because he was too young at the time. His relatives refused even when he begged. That was when he decided to celebrate them when his little sister died, so the three of them would be able to reincarnate together.
Yang nodded and followed Ellery and Akimitsu.
With the next part of the itinerary confirmed, most people went back to their places to get an overnight bag before making their way to Ellery's estate.
All night long, Ellery and Akimitsu took over the celebrations, letting Yang grieve but also celebrate his parents and sisters without any worries…
