Hestia finally understood and said, "I won't let you do that." She hid her face behind the pillow, avoiding my eyes. "I want a normal pregnancy. Please don't do that."
She was about to cry.
Seeing her trying so hard not to cry, I walked over and sat on the bed.
I placed my hand on her thigh and said, "Alright, I won't do it."
Watching her almost cry made my heart ache.
