The fractured void had not yet settled when a voice, ancient and distant, pressed itself into existence once more.
{Primordial Light… Spark.}
The words did not travel through sound. They unfolded directly within the fabric of space, echoing across the cracks like a memory forced into being.
At the same time, one of the enormous fingers extending from the shattered boundary shifted and, pointed slowly toward Spark.
Spark looked up at it.
A faint grin tugged at the corner of his lips.
"Oh?" he said, as though mildly entertained. "You want to fight me… with only an incarnation?"
The moment the words fell, the space around him reacted.
It did not explode, nor did it distort in the usual sense. Instead, it fractured, clean, sharp breaks forming in the air itself, as if something invisible had just collided against an immovable wall.
