Ye Jinglan groaned in pain the second Luo Huian raised her foot and kicked the mer in the stomach. She hit him right where the mer had struck Nan Zhi.
"My, my. What's the matter?" Luo Huian questioned. She tilted her head to one side and sneered at Ye Jinglan, "What happened? Didn't you say that this little pain was something that even an infant can easily suffer? Why is it that now that it's your turn to suffer, you cannot even stand upright? Isn't this what you did to those kids with quite an ease?"
Ye Jinglan panted heavily; his arms were wrapped around his torso as he looked at Luo Huian with a hint of fear and anger in his eyes. He wanted to lose his temper with her but he didn't dare to. The pain coursing through his veins was enough to make him breathe through his mouth, making it impossible for him to speak a word.
