Hera and Sharky walked side by side toward the edge of the Underworld.
This was a hidden route, one Hera had used long ago, and only she knows about it. It directly leads to forbidden chambers where Zeus had secretly imprisoned Echidna.
When they stepped onto it… A sound cake from upwards. And with a hiss a sizzle of rain started falling.
When the Greenish droplets poured from above, and it struck the stone, the rock started melting like a candle with fire. This was no ordinary rain, it was corrosive enough to melt bone, dissolve divine armor, and erase mortals in seconds.
Hera's eyes widened in alarm. But before a single drop could touch her, Sharky moved, he wrapped his arm around her waist, pulled her firmly into his chest, and turned his back to the rain.
The acid rain slammed into him. Drop after drop struck his body like molten poison. But nothing happened to him, not even a few parts of his body were burnt.
The rain touched him, and simply failed.
