Although the day was hard for Shen Mu, she managed to survive till the time to knock off from work.
"Are you going to your mom's house tonight?" Shen Mu asked.
"No, I called her yesterday and told her I would bring on the weekend." Cheng Xiao replied.
"Is Hu Yiting coming to pick you up?" Su Li asked.
"No, he called to tell me he was called in for an emergency surgery." Shen Mu replied.
"In that case let's go." Cheng Xiao said and the two waved bye to Su Li who got into Jiang Cheng's car.
In the car Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao talked about everything.
"I never thought I would end up married in less than four months I had known the guy." Shen Mu said.
"I never thought I would be dragged to the marriage bureau." Cheng Xiao said.
"How did aunt sound on the phone?" Shen Mu asked.
"Like she wants to kill me." Cheng Xiao said.
"Ooh!" Shen Mu made a sound.
Cheng Xiao waved Shen Mu as she dropped her at her new home. Cheng Xiao then proceeded to head home, when Cheng Xiao arrived at home, she found Xu Kai seated on the couch with a remote in his hand.
"Join me for a movie." Xu Kai said.
"Okay, let me go wash up first." Cheng Xiao replied.
Xu Kai nodded and watched as she walked up the stairs, after thirty minutes Cheng Xiao appeared and sat to him. Xu Kai wrapped his arm around her shoulder bringing closer to him. Cheng Xiao tensed up when she felt his arm but relax when he whispered in her ear to.
Xu Kai pressed on the movie and passed the snacks to her. Cheng Xiao looked at the snack which happened to be her favorite, she looked at him surprised how he knew. Cheng Xiao thanked him and leaned into him.
As the movie came to an end, at the end of the movie the main couple shared a passionate kiss, Cheng Xiao felt her cheeks redden. Xu Kai looked at her lips and slowly pulled away, Cheng Xiao turned to look at him but found his face close to hers.
"Can I?" Xu Kai asked.
"What?" Cheng Xiao asked back.
"Can I kiss you?" Xu Kai asked again.
Cheng Xiao nodded and looked down; Xu Kai lifted her chin and brought his lips to her. The kiss was slow unlike the ones they shared before, which always felt forceful, as their lips moved in sync, Xu Kai pulled out of the kiss and rested his forehead on hers.
Cheng Xiao closed her eyes as she remembered the way his lips felt on her own.
"You are a temptation." Xu Kai stood up and walked upstairs.
