Shen Mu and Hu Yiting walked into the old Hu mansion; Shen Mu looked around and was amazed at the decor. That was enough to show that they were really one of the five top aristocratic families in the city.
"Shen Mu, you're here." Mrs. Hu came running and embraced her in a hug.
"Good afternoon Mrs. Hu." Shen Mu greeted.
"Mrs.? Shen Mu you hurt my feelings." Mrs. Hu said placing a hand over her heart.
"Sorry mom, I am just so nervous." Shen Mu apologized.
"What are you nervous about dear? Everyone here is just eager to meet the woman who managed to conquer Mr. Stone cold over here." Mrs. Hu said and locked hands with Shen Mu as she welcomed her inside the house.
"Is she here?" A girl asked.
"This is Hu Yiting's cousin, Hu Li." Mrs. Hu introduced them.
"Hello, I am..."
"Shen Mu, right?" Hu Li cut Shen Mu when she was introducing herself.
"Yes, how...?" Shen Mu asked.
"It is what everyone has been talking about this week. We have been waiting for this guy to find a girlfriend since forever." Hu Li beamed joining Mrs. Hu and locking hands on the side of Shen Mu.
Shen Mu was in the middle with Mrs. Hu on her right and Hu Li on the left. Hu Yiting looked at the way they took his girlfriend away and walked over cutting in between and took Shen Mu from the both of them.
"Isn't that a bit much, how do you expect her to breath?" Hu Yiting asked.
"Is dear, I am so sorry. I guess I am just over excited." Mrs. Hu apologized.
"Sorry Shen Mu I was just really happy to have a new friend." Hu Li apologized as well.
"No, no it's fine actually." Shen Mu said.
Shen Mu removed Hu Yiting's hands off her and locked hands with them again, Hu Yiting looked at her in confusion, but Shen Mu shook her head.
"It's fine really, it makes me happy that you both welcomed me so lovingly. Honestly my nervousness is all gone." Shen Mu said.
"Well, then let's go and introduce to everyone else." Mrs. Hu said.
Both Hu Li and Mrs. Shen took Shen Mu to meet all the other family members.
'Talk about a big family.' Shen Mu thought to herself.
Shen Mu didn't expect to meet so many family members, four of his uncles from his father's side were there with their wives. His mother had two sisters who were present with their husbands as well, so sum up the cousins. It was over fifteen cousins all different ages. It was only a few that was around their age and the rest were teens and children.
"You have yet to meet his brother, but his brother will only be back in three months." Mrs. Hu said.
