Adam looked around the carriage with a startled look.
He was back.
His friends, who'd been through it all with him, were all sitting around him, doing their own things while waiting for the carriage to reach their destination.
'A letter.' Adam looked at the letter inside his hands and, with shaking hands, opened it.
'I always wondered what she wrote to me.'
Adam started skimming through the contents of the letter.
'Adam, I received a word that you're going over to the Black Sea for a moment. I heard it is a very dangerous area, so I hope you're going to be careful and safe.'
While reading it, he imagined Lady Yu writing it at her desk with the moonlight filtering through the window.
"Oh, you opened it." Liam leaned over. "What'cha reading~"
"None of your business." Adam's voice turned cold.
"Oof…" Liam raised his hands innocently. "What's with that tone? I was just curious…"
