"You little rascal!"
Xicheng playfully scolded, shaking his head helplessly. He put on the silicone toothbrush again, amusing and coaxing, and after being bitten two or three times, he finally got all the little white teeth clean.
Then followed the "grand project" of washing his face. By the time he finished, much of Xicheng's clothes were damp.
Nearly two hours of fussing later, the big and the little one finally solved the morning washing routine and changed into their outdoor clothes.
"Milk powder, bottles, thermos, diapers, wet wipes..."
Xicheng checked everything on the table again, carefully packing them into the backpack.
"All set!" He slung the backpack over his shoulder, bent down, and tied the little one's hat and scarf. "Let's go! Niannian and Daddy are going to take the car to find Mommy, okay?"
"Mommy!"
The little one echoed.
"Yes, find Mommy!" Xicheng tugged the hat brim down for the little one, grabbed the car keys, "We must find Mommy and bring her back!"
