Yan Luoxi watched his figure disappear down the corridor, then withdrew her gaze and saw Li Yeqi constantly looking at her. She coughed lightly and turned around uncomfortably, "Xiaoling is still in the ward, I'll go check if he's awake."
"I'll go with you." Li Yeqi strode alongside her, and until they entered the ward, neither spoke another word.

Yan Luoxi walked to the bedside and saw Yanling with wide eyes looking at her. She bent forward slightly, "Xiaoling, you're awake?"
Yanling glanced at her, then at Li Yeqi behind her, feeling the atmosphere between them was strange—not like their usual affectionate interactions.
He lowered his voice, "Mommy, did you have a fight with Uncle Li?"
Yan Luoxi was startled, then reached out to stroke his head. Her Xiaoling had such keen observation skills to notice the awkwardness between them, "We didn't fight, don't worry about that."
