Yan Luoxi steadied herself and turned back to see Li Yeqi collapsed on the ground. She was terrified, her heart racing, as she darted over with a single step, kneeling in front of him. Her hands trembled in panic, not daring to touch him. "Mr. Li, are you okay?"
Li Yeqi lay motionless on the ground for a long time amidst the noisy crowd. Yet, Yan Luoxi couldn't hear anything else. She looked at the man unconscious before her, and tears suddenly welled up in her eyes.
"Li Yeqi, don't die. I won't allow you to die. Can you hear me?"
"Blood, Mr. Yan, look, he's bleeding." Someone shouted nearby.
Yan Luoxi saw blood gushing out from the side of his head. She knelt beside him, crying out, "Call an ambulance! Li Yeqi, don't scare me. You can't get hurt."
She felt like a curse; even like this, she brought misfortune to him. If something really happened to him, she would never forgive herself.
