ELLIOT'S POV....
...SEVEN DAYS EARLIER...
" When we touch down the soil of the north, I want you all to be a team until we reach the northern warmen base " the commander swasaid.
" Sir why don't we just fly over to the base?" One of us asked.
" Good question private, but this monsters have aircraft that will take us down with one hit, so we drop with a distance from where they may see us and attack, even with this we have a long battle ahead of us. So prepare."
The radio tuned on and a voice spoke aloud.
" Commander, two minutes to drop point get ready for battle."
" You all heard the pilot, this is our time, for freedom!" The commander shouted in orders as we all started raging, if only we knew we were going to meet our inevitable end.*
" Gentlemen, in three, two, one, go go go, move your grumpy legs and let's finish a war for the watchdogs." The commander shouted the moment we touched down.
That was how it began, from the day of our arrival, there was no rest only war and blood.
I and Jenner became a lot closer than anyone in the field, our closeness breached our hatred for each other and brought in love. We fell in love? How ironic even yet at this moment I still fell broken inside and partially outside.
BACK TO PRESENT DAY....
After the speech I was taken to a therapist in the base.
I got into her office and saw that she was of same age as I was or maybe younger.
" You can have your seat mister heaves " she said with a smile on her face.
I took my seat facing her directly.
" My name is martine craftford but you can at least call me doctor " still smiling.
I just sat down quietly looking at the books kept on her desk.
" How long were you out there with no aid?" She asked.
The moment she asked that question the flashes of blood and blast killing our troops came back my head.
" Are you okay Mr heaves?"
" Have you ever been out there in the fields, face to face with those monsters?" I managed to ask.
" Well, yes for about two days, I was in search of someone an old friend " she answered me politely but I could tell she was avoiding to talk about that space missing in her life.
" Did you find this person?" I asked.
" No, see Mr heaves we're having a conversation isn't it great?" She said laughing this time around.
" Funny, I can't smile without thinking about the people we lost out there " I muttered with my face in dismay.
" I know exactly what it's like to see blood and cannot get it off your mind, when I turned nineteen I thought the friend of mine was going to come visiting but he didn't. So I joined the watchdogs if I could find him, so yes Mr heaves I know what it's like out there and what you feel " she said this time she kept a serious look.
" So how is this done?" I asked looking around the office.
" The therapy you mean?" she said asked, with me just giving a nod.
" Am going to be asking you some questions about yourself and your experiences that has been keeping you shut out, to be able to bring you original ego back in shape " she replied.
We chatted for about an hour before my session ended and I won't lie i began feeling lighter with myself.
I was about going when I said.
" Do you ever think you'll find this person you joined the warmen to see?"
" I feel he is still out there and if he is I'll see him someday " she answered.
" Does this person have a name?" I asked.
" Yes, Wilson dariket " she said.
Wilson dariket, that was when I saw the picture of her he was holding, she still looks the same.
" Wilson dariket you say?" I asked just to be sure.
" Yes, do you Know him?" She asked.
" Not really, but I know if he's out there you'll find him or he'll find you " I said as she smiled at me.
I left the office with the thought of Wilson filling my head, he and I are close so thinking if he is alive was so frustrating when i have no answer to the question.
I later had a meet with Jenner and coal and told them about the therapist earlier.
" It's just the four of us that has a clue about Wilson, and to what I heard about the west, they have no base there it has been destroyed " coal said.
" And you can't tell her both of you are buddies, she'll just force you to help her find him. If it's the south it would have been better or the north, even a bit easier in the east but the west " Jenner said.
" In a week we're going back to the south, we should take her with us maybe he'll be there " i suggested.
We three were about going to our bunkers when the base sounded an alarm for everyone to meet in the Grand hall.
We ran there immediately to see what was going on.
" Good evening warmen, my name is Devon I'll be your supervisor from now on and I don't care what you guys think, tomorrow will be a new ride for us all. The king sent me here to preserve law and order so that I'll do. So I'll like for you all to call me the judicator " the man wearing a black suit standing in front of the pulpit said with a grin on his face.
" I don't understand sir we have a supervisor already, two people cannot do a man's work " the base captain insisted.
" This is exactly what am here for, to eradicate questions and indiscipline " the judicator said pulled out his gun and shot the Base captain in the foot making everyone to panic.
He walked to the bleeding officer and shouted.
" There's no one else here that has the law to counter the king's order is there? So I'll make this clear we are starting training tomorrow by law and as the judicator that I am, you all watchdogs and war soldiers will work together and end the territorial reign of those monsters here in the north " everyone was quite silent except the bleeding captain on the floor.
" What do you have us do " another captain asked.
" Simple my friend, you tell your armies to prepare for the battle ahead of us will be called the great sacrifice " the judicator said and walked out.
" What the hell was that about?" Jenner asked.
" Looks like we got ourselves a problem right in our palms " coal said.
" Then Wilson dariket will have to wait " I muttered, as we left the hall.
I just have a feeling that the ones above are our greatest enemy, the craziest part is everyone is avoiding the truth.
Maybe someone needs to stand up to them.
