Chapter 347 - Chapter 347: I've Killed More People Than You've Ever Known

"Good. Since they're out of control and those dogs want to act like masters, I'll take them out. You don't have a problem with that, do you?"

"Even if I did, would you listen? The coordinates of the secret training island are XX.XX," Turner said, still lying on the ground. After a few minutes, the pain in his body subsided enough for him to slowly stand up. He walked over to the desk, opened his computer, and printed out a file, handing it to William. "This is the information we have on the members of the assassin organization."

William took the file and briefly flipped through it as Turner continued, "Actually, we could work together. There are some of our agents embedded on the island. If you kill the woman who dares to call herself Lady M, we could send in our people to regain control of the organization."

"And what's in it for me?" William scoffed. Ever since he learned that this assassin organization had targeted him and was originally created to oppose a certain nation, he had no intention of letting them off. It wasn't just about his own safety, but also some personal ties he couldn't ignore. However, he replied dismissively, "I don't trust traitorous dogs."

Without giving Turner another glance, William walked over to a nearby desk, grabbed some paper and a pen, and quickly sketched a portrait of a woman. He handed the drawing to Bond, who had been waiting. "Remember the assassin known as 'White' you captured a few months ago?"

"Of course. I caught him myself, only for him to be rescued by a traitor in the agency. How could I forget?" Bond replied sternly.

"Good. This young woman is his daughter, Madeleine Swann. Find her, and you'll find him."

William then sketched another portrait, this time of an older, attractive woman. "This beautiful woman is Lucia. Her husband is an Italian mafia boss, and she's also a member of Spectre. Find her, and I don't need to tell you the rest."

Bond took the two portraits, nodded in satisfaction, and said, "Understood."

"I'll give you a tip, Craig. If Lucia's husband doesn't cooperate, maybe you should just take him out and use Lucia as leverage. With your way with women, it shouldn't be too difficult."

William patted Bond on the shoulder. "Good luck, man. I'm rooting for you."

Turner and Charlene, who had been silently listening to the conversation, shuddered. Especially Charlene, who was encountering William for the first time. Whatever fantasies she had about him instantly shattered. What kind of person could come up with the idea of killing a husband to seduce his wife and use her to achieve his goals?

"No problem, this is a small task for me," Bond replied with a grin. He then turned to Charlene and asked, "What are you going to do with this girl?"

William walked up to Charlene and said, "You're going to take my people to find that woman calling herself Lady M. Once you find her, you'll kill her yourself as proof of your loyalty. After that, you'll work for me. In return, I'll tell you where your mother is. How does that sound?"

"Do you know what a loyalty test is?" William asked.

"Y-Yes," Charlene stammered, her voice trembling. "Do you really know where my mother is?"

"Of course. But you'd better think twice before betraying me, because if you do, I'll send someone to find your mother. Understand?"

"Yes, Mr. Devonshire," Charlene replied, somewhat relieved to learn her life was spared and that her mother was still alive. Her tension quickly faded, and William found himself appreciating how quickly she recovered. "Follow me."

With Charlene in tow, William left the bunker. Before getting into the car, he tossed her the keys. "You drive."

"Okay."

Following William's directions, the car arrived at a secluded spot under a bridge by the Thames. William pulled out his phone and sent a message to Mr. White, asking for a meeting.

While they waited, William, growing bored, glanced at Charlene, who sat quietly beside him. "You were 13 when you were kidnapped. How could you not remember your mother or where she lived?"

"All the children sent to the training island were in a state of amnesia before arriving. I suspect it was because of drugs. I was one of the lucky ones. When I woke up, I still remembered I had a mother, that I was born in Hawaii, and a few scattered memories of my life. Others don't even know if they have families."

After a moment of silence, Charlene hesitantly asked, "Sir, could you tell me where my mother is and how she's doing?"

"You'll see your mother after you complete your mission. Telling you now would only distract you. As for how she's doing," William paused, recalling an image from his memory, "her life seems fine. She lives in a small villa, but it looks like she's been searching for you..."

"Sniff..."

Before William could finish speaking, he heard the sound of sobbing beside him. Turning, he saw Charlene's tear-streaked face. For a moment, William felt the urge to tell her where her mother was, but just as he was about to speak, his deeply ingrained distrust kicked in.

Studying her for a few seconds, he used his mental powers to sense her emotions. Despite how convincingly she was crying, her heart rate had only increased slightly.

"God, as the old saying goes, pretty women are born actresses. With your skills, you should really consider becoming an actress. Once this mission is over, I could recommend you to Hollywood. I know the director Ridley Scott. Want me to introduce you? Maybe one day, you'll be a famous Hollywood star. I even have a movie idea based on your life. How about we call it *Naked Agent*?"

Charlene was so stunned by William's words that she forgot to keep crying. William lifted her chin with a finger, forcing her to look up at him. "Look at this delicate face. Were you thinking that if you cried, I, as a man, would naturally feel pity, embrace you, comfort you, and then sleep with you? Afterward, I'd be so pleased that I wouldn't let you do anything dangerous and might even keep you by my side?"

"N-No, no, no!" Charlene stammered, her panic growing as she stared into William's narrowed eyes. Years of training had honed her instincts, and she could feel the danger.

Before she could finish speaking, William grabbed her chin, lowering his voice, "Remember this: my name is William Devonshire. I've personally killed more people than you've ever known. You're not the only one who's been training since childhood. I started when I was 10, all on my own. No one forced me, no one supervised me. I endured loneliness and pain, avoiding prying eyes and training in secret. Nine years later, when I finally felt ready to kill anyone who dared target me, only then did my life start to normalize."

As he spoke, his hand moved from her chin to her neck, his other hand gently sliding across her face. "Look at this face. It's beautiful. It'd be a shame if it got ruined. But a shame is just that."

William's grip tightened slightly, causing Charlene to struggle for breath before he finally let go. "It wouldn't take much to destroy it. So, this is your last warning—don't try to play games with me."
