I looked up and saw Jiraiya beaming with contentment, followed closely by Sakumo.
- And as always, you're not wasting any time," the Hokage's apprentice grinned at me as he came closer.
Like all iryonin kunoichi, Nasuri had not only a well-trained body, but also a good upper body, which immediately attracted the attention of the lusty sannin.
- This is Nasuri-chan, we were iryonin students together at the hospital back in the day," he introduced her to the elite shinobi, nodding hello to the couple.
- Nice to meet you, Hatake-sama, Jiraiya-sama," the girl jumped up immediately, recognizing the addition to our company.
She wasn't the only one who recognized it, though - the surrounding jonins from other villages also noticed the appearance of Konoha's strongest fighters, and some of them even began to move away from us, clearly not wanting to attract attention.
- So you studied with our young talent? - Jiraiya grinned, not paying much attention to the kunoichi's demonstrated reverence. - What's it like competing with a genius?
- It wasn't much of a competition," she shrugged, adopting a simple style of conversation. 'It was more like trying to get through a boring course, although the sight of Ryo-san studying hard next door was stimulating,' she grinned, adding, "That's why there were only girls in the group at the end of the course.
- It seems that even at a tender age, Ryo was already winning women's hearts, albeit in a more innocent way than he is now," Sakumo joined the conversation.
- And I'm proud of it," he hummed in response to the teasing, not the least bit embarrassed.
- I mean, the entire female staff of the hospital was proud of them," the girl smiled slyly, clearly reminiscing.
- If I didn't have a lot of insolent people squeezing me, I could ignore it," I snorted indignantly, ignoring the laughter.
- Teams five and eleven are registered," a new announcement distracted us.
- Looks like they're yours," I noted, "pretty fast, mine took longer, congratulations.
- It's still early," Jiraiya said, 'only the most unprepared will fall for the traps and tricks,' he said, obviously knowing something about the organization of the exam.
A good number of teams were on the third floor instead of the second floor, having been fooled by the examiners. Even though it was forty minutes before the scheduled time, it was unlikely that the Genin would discover the setup in time.
