Raymond Vis gazed through the porthole at the orbital defense line collapsing in the Chaos onslaught.
What else could he say?
Only a long sigh.
"Prepare yourselves, we are breaking through." He issued the command.
The reactions varied.
Some were in disbelief, some questioned:
"Are we going to abandon the Guard Star?!"
This was not an easy decision to accept.
Guarding the Guard Star, from a macro perspective, had been ongoing for decades; from the present viewpoint, this Chaos invasion had lasted seven months. Though the battle was tough, honestly, the enemy's strength compared to many past crises faced by the Guard Star was only moderate.
So many past dangers had been overcome, what's there to fear about this not-so-severe one?
