Today's outcome no longer had anything to do with that bunch.
On the other side, in front of Sheng Yanlin, Song Canghai had no strength to fight back at all, beaten into retreat step by step.
Sheng Yanlin swung his staff left, then right, and suddenly lashed it across Song Canghai's face again, purely tormenting him, humiliating him to the utmost.
In the end, one blow snapped both his legs. Song Canghai fell from midair, crashed into the muddy ground; that lofty master's bearing vanished completely. He stabbed his sword into the earth, as if still wanting to stand, but Sheng Yanlin reversed his grip and smashed down, breaking his arm.
Lying in the rotten mud, Song Canghai let out an unwilling roar. Even on the brink of death he didn't speak a single word of begging for mercy; instead, curses poured from his mouth as he described in detail how he had tortured and slaughtered Sheng Yanlin's old friends and subordinates, just begging for a swift death.
