"Phoenix, we've arrived." a female prisoner said.
"Open this door for me," Phoenix said indifferently, her tone flat without the slightest fluctuation.
Behind her followed seven or eight other female convicts, the eldest in their thirties, the youngest in their twenties.
"Alrighty." The woman who had first spoken quickly fiddled with the iron door, and it swung open, "Phoenix, the door is open, please come in!"
The woman known as Phoenix was about thirty, with a sallow complexion – the indistinct kind that would go unnoticed in crowds.
She walked in expressionlessly, and the women behind her all filed in after her.
Huo Weining frowned at the unfriendly newcomers; she was already in a bad mood and didn't expect to be provoked, so her tone took on an edge, "What do you want to do?"
"Well, well, what have we here? A delicate, pretty little rich girl!" A woman in her thirties in prison garb looked over Huo Weining with ill intent.
This look gave Huo Weining goosebumps all over.
