Ji Lan spoke in a playful manner, not at all like a big sister.
Ji Chengzhi noticed, his eye twitching a bit, knowing exactly what kind of person his sister was. He decided not to continue the pointless conversation, lifted the blanket, and planned to get up.
"Ugh..."
"Got a headache, huh? Who told you to drink so much? If you can't handle it, don't drink." Ji Lan saw him clutching his head and groaning in pain, and approached with a mix of concern and irritation.
Ji Chengzhi didn't say anything, holding his head, but when he saw the steaming bowl of hangover soup she brought, he obediently took a few sips. Only then did the throbbing in his head ease a bit.
Did he drink too much last night? He didn't feel it.
Feeling a bit better, Ji Chengzhi looked at his watch and saw it was quite late, so he got out of bed. "I have to go to work, there are a few surgeries today."
Ji Lan nodded, "Go ahead, but can your body handle it? You didn't sleep much last night."
