Jing Xuan tilted his head, looking at her in confusion: "Are you saying that hating him would be the normal reaction?"

"I don't dislike him either." If it were another man getting this close to Tang Huai, he would have been jealous already.
Tang Huai glanced at the bag in his hand: "Did you buy it?"

"Then let's go upstairs; I need to sleep early."
They left the shop, locked the door, and turned around to see Kang Shi standing under a streetlight across the road, smoking.
Tang Huai stopped, standing there for several seconds before looking at Jing Xuan: "Why hasn't he left yet?"
Jing Xuan shook his head: "I don't know, maybe he's staying there."
"He said he's from Hong Kong. He should go home when he's free; he has a wife and daughter."
"How do you know if he's free or not now? Let's go upstairs."
