"Help! This man is trying to hit me! Someone call the police and have him arrested!"
To their surprise, Jiang Ce just shook his head. "No need to bother."
"What do you mean?"
Jiang Ce gave a faint smile. "Oh, I mean I already called the police on my way here, so there's no need to call them again."
Then, Jiang Ce pointed behind him. "Look, they're already here."
The driver then saw flashing police lights in the distance.
He was completely dumbfounded.
His earlier confidence was just an act. Now, seeing the police, he was like a mouse facing a cat and scrambled to flee.
But Jiang Ce grabbed him by the collar, his voice cold. "Didn't you just tell people to call the police? They're here now. Go on, explain yourself to the officers."
The driver was on the verge of tears.
