Chapter 734 - 733. The Gods of Life and Death!!!

A terrifying white light, like eternal day, erupted from the grasped hands of Sentry and the Anti-Monitor, spreading with unstoppable force. The entire universe was engulfed in its radiant energy.

On the battlefield below, the heroes only had time to raise their arms to shield themselves before their senses were instantly stripped away. The world fell into utter silence—devoid of sight, sound, and feeling.

Above, the shadow demons from the antimatter universe were instantly vaporized. To them, this level of energy was like vampires being dragged into sunlight. Their forms couldn't survive even a second in that environment.

No one knew how much time passed.

Slowly, the blinding white glow began to dissipate.

"Ugh…"

Tony Stark let out a low groan as he struggled to his feet.

"What the hell was that…"

As his senses returned, Tony squinted and surveyed the scene. All around him was devastation—corpses and wreckage littered the field. Some of his allies were also starting to 'wake up.'

"I swear, if Alex comes to me for help again, I'm ignoring him," muttered the Punisher, spitting out blood as he stood, panting. He reached out and helped Doctor Strange up.

"You guys okay?"

Nebula came over. She had thought this mission would be simple—she never imagined she'd be thrown into a battle rivaling the Legendary War itself.

She looked up. The massive, terrifying form of the Anti-Monitor was gone. So was the Sentry. No one knew what had just happened. No one understood what condition the universe was in now.

After a moment of silence, Nebula asked, "Is it over?"

"I'm afraid not…"

Doctor Strange shook his head slightly, brow furrowed, his eyes scanning the distant ruins with unease.

"The Anti-Monitor is still alive."

"What?!"

Gasps spread among the heroes.

They had all felt the overwhelming fear and pressure from that last strike. Whatever power the Sentry had unleashed had been beyond comprehension.

They didn't understand how Sentry had wielded such power—but what they did understand was chilling: if even that hadn't killed the Anti-Monitor, what chance did they stand now that most of them had lost their superpowers?

As if to validate Doctor Strange's warning, the silent world once again stirred. The energy around them surged wildly out of control.

From the rubble, a figure slowly rose.

Several heroes instinctively stepped back.

Though his armor was shattered and his body covered in wounds, the sheer oppressive force radiating from the figure left no doubt—none dared face the Anti-Monitor now.

"He's still alive?!"

From beyond the debris, even heroes who were farther away could feel it—the Anti-Monitor's presence. A mix of dread and disbelief flickered in their eyes.

The Anti-Monitor now appeared almost human in size, merely more imposing. But his terrifying aura was undeniable. Even those with powers once might've struggled against him. Now, without powers, most of the heroes were essentially crippled.

The "normal" heroes didn't fare much better. Though their powers hadn't been drained, their stamina and life force had been sapped. Some couldn't even stand.

"Heh… heh… heh…"

As the silence grew unbearable, the Anti-Monitor's cold laughter echoed through the broken space, spreading across the world.

"Sentry… Sentry! Good. Very good!"

Flexing his wrist, the Anti-Monitor let power surge over him again. The energy field rooted every hero to the spot—so intense they couldn't even blink.

"I underestimated you all. I didn't think such a being existed in this universe. I'll reflect on that. But now… I'll crush every last bit of your hope."

The breath of antimatter cloaked the battlefield. None of the heroes dared to speak. Their minds and bodies were at the edge of collapse.

"It's over… we're done for."

Baron Blood was the first to collapse, eyes devoid of life.

"Where's Alex? Where did he go?"

The Punisher turned to Tony Stark, his voice strained.

"You're asking me?"

Tony wanted to roll his eyes, but he couldn't even move a finger. Jarvis had long since gone dark.

"Without Alex, we have no chance. We're not equipped to fight something like that," Rainbow Raider muttered in despair.

As a supervillain who had once joined the counteroffensive on Apokolips and survived the Wastelands Universe, he knew exactly how much power Alex commanded.

But there was still no sign of him. Rainbow Raider had given up completely, his will to fight shattered.

"Paul, don't give up!"

A sharp, determined voice suddenly rang out.

Rainbow Raider didn't even recognize who had spoken. He just sat on the ground, smiling bitterly.

"We're out of options. We've lost our powers. The antimatter is closing in. There's no escape…"

"You're wrong!"

The voice rang out again, cutting off the Rainbow Raider's words mid-sentence.

At the same moment, a blur of motion streaked past him—so fast and forceful that the resulting shockwave sent him flying. The figure disappeared almost instantly, leaving only stunned onlookers and a single echoing voice in the air.

"There's always hope. Don't give up on it—never!!"

"Kara!"

Tony Stark recognized the voice. He stared in disbelief at the figure streaking straight toward the Anti-Monitor.

"I don't know where Alex is… but I believe he's facing something even worse than this. And I think everyone here believes the same. That's why—I'll carry on his fight."

Kara's eyes locked onto the Anti-Monitor. She could already feel the searing heat of the rising anti-matter energy—but she didn't stop.

Maybe… I can't do what he did, she thought, but Alex once told me… just give it everything. That's what matters. Face your efforts with sincerity, give everything you've got—and let the rest go.

Clenching her fists, Kara glared at the approaching Anti-Monitor. The fighting spirit in her gaze had turned solid—tangible.

I've lived by Alex's ideals—from the Flashpoint Universe until now—I've done my best. I don't think I've let that belief down!

BOOM!!

That small, seemingly fragile fist—carrying titanic power—slammed squarely into the Anti-Monitor's face, smashing his enormous form deep into the ruins below.

"In the name of all those who died—how can you be so indifferent to life?!"

At that moment, Kara's destructive might hit its peak.

"All those people, those lives… all those worlds… those universes—they're gone! Gone!!"

Before the Anti-Monitor could even rise, Kara's fist struck again.

"Oh my god…"

Outside the battlefield, every hero was frozen in awe.

"She's been hitting him—non-stop…"

The Rainbow Raider's jaw hung open in disbelief at the sight before him.

Tony Stark clenched his fists tight.

"…Kara."

BOOM!

With a deafening blast, the Anti-Monitor's energy surged and flung Kara's body across the battlefield.

"It's over, Kryptonian!"

The Anti-Monitor raised his hand, anti-matter spiraling into it like a black sun.

"I dealt with that Kryptonian—and you will be ne—"

BOOM—!!

Before he could finish, Kara was already there—right above him—and her furious punch crushed him back into the ground again, this time cracking the earth into a massive rift.

"Even after witnessing countless hopeless multiverses, I still see life as the greatest gift. But you—you've desecrated it!!"

"This… this can't be…"

For the first time, pain surged through the Anti-Monitor's body—and panic set in.

"How do you… have such strength… you're just… just a—"

But the only answer he received… was Kara's rising, iron-clad fist.

"I'm Supergirl!!"

From deep within her, golden light erupted—not just energy, but something more.

No—this wasn't just energy. It was something deeper. A law. A primordial force born from the very fabric of the physical universe itself.

The brilliance pouring from Kara glowed like a sun. Just by basking in that light, everyone could feel their vitality slowly returning.

"What… what is this…"

Tony Stark stared, bewildered, sensing the energy inside him begin to recover.

"We were all wrong. Darkseid was wrong. And so were we."

At that moment, Doctor Fate appeared behind Tony, his raspy voice echoing quietly.

"The truth of Flashpoint Universe One… the truth of this Earth… was never about fragments of the Anti-Life Equation. Quite the opposite—this place holds the remnants of the Life Equation."

"The Life Equation?!" Tony's pupils shrank.

It all made sense now!

He had once discussed the evolution of this strange universe with Alex—a world shaped by Barry Allen, the Flash, that diverged wildly from what Alex remembered. This wasn't a world with the Justice League, but one with the Justice Society. A different history. A different future.

So why had they assumed that Earth's secret was the Anti-Life Equation?

Now, with Darkseid's death, the Law of Life could finally shine again.

Never give up.

The light of hope.

And among everyone present, no one was more worthy of inheriting that power than Kara.

"Pietro, now—do it!"

Just then, a streak of light appeared from nowhere.

Old Bruce Wayne had teleported above the Anti-Monitor using the power of the Mobius Chair. And right behind him came Pietro—God of Death—unable to suppress his bloodlust any longer.

"You're mine now, old bastard," Pietro sneered.

A torrent of pitch-black death energy erupted from him. In his hand formed the Godslayer Scythe—an avatar of absolute finality, capable of ending all forms of life.

"No—No!!"

The Anti-Monitor clawed his way upright. Sensing the looming threat of death, he unleashed his final surge of power.

Left hand: Anti-Life Equation.

Right hand: Omega Energy.

Two of the most devastating forces in existence now burned in the Anti-Monitor's grasp. And yet, just above him, three meters high, two divine forces stirred—forces equal to or greater than his own.

Kara, Goddess of Life.

Pietro, God of Death.

Her radiant golden fist rose.

His obsidian scythe of shadows swung high.

"No——!!"

Time itself seemed to freeze.

All motion ceased.

Every eye on the battlefield turned to the center of the storm.

They saw only a flickering frame—like a slideshow of divinity—as three cosmic powers, each capable of reshaping the multiverse, collided in hauntingly slow unison.

The Anti-Monitor's body twisted and warped in the apocalyptic surge. His already shattered armor disintegrated completely.

Bathed in a radiance unknown even to the Celestials, his form was slowly unraveled, atom by atom—until all that remained…was ash, scattered across the void.

"No…"
